Download Imdisk virtual disk drive software : http://www.ltr-data.se/opencode.html/#ImDisk Once installed and rebooted go into control panel and click on imdisk icon. Click mount new > set desired size and change to gigabytes > Click Create virtual disk drive in physical memory > Press ok. Format new drive , NTFS recommended. Copy DayZ into new drive and run via exe file.

I have noticed this myself too. I usually get 60-90fps. This has dropped to about 30fps. Clearly something us wrong. Hope its fixed soon.

Loving it, its now very tough and you need to make a decision whether to risk opening fire. Its very tense. Hopefully this will encourage more team based playing rather than new players just shooting you on sight.
