There's all ready a metric F*ck ton of threads talking about this, and it's been explained why they do what they do, some people like it.. some people don't, they're free to play the game how they want when they're on a private server. If this were an official hive server I would have a different opinion. -

Loot spawn rates after 1.7.2 patch

Keep in mind that if people don't remove the loot from a building it won't actually re-spawn until the rest of it is removed. I'll use the hospital med boxes as an example: Open up med box, let's say it's got 10 bandages, 5 blood bags, 5 epi-pens and 5 morphine. (This is what spawns in a medical box usually, occasionally some anti-biotics as well.) If you take everything out of the box drop it on the floor outside the building the box is generally refilled within 3-5 minutes. So in order for loot to re-spawn you need to clear the building effectively, if other people have previously gone through the building and only taken 1 or 2 things from the pile, or 1 or 2 things from the deer stand, don't expect anything new to spawn anytime soon. Hope this helps. -
^ This Not sure why anyone would want a silenced makarov for anything but zombie head-shot's seeing as it only does like 800 damage to players, add a silencer on the weapon and you decrease the damage even more.

Yes I think the griefing would be substantially worse if people started with a weapon, I personally wouldn't mind starting with some type of crappy melee weapon AKA the crowbar though. -

Luckily for most of them being shamed and looked down on doesn't bother people hiding behind a computer monitor. I would call it cheating, but I'm not Rocket. If your going to snipe someone why not do it fair and square? Or If it's that big of an issue... maybe they should password their teamspeak, or not stream.. by doing these things your inadvertently putting yourself at risk and you probably have what is coming to you. -
are zombies really the main threat?

The main threat is by far going to be players, maybe once zombies can run efficiently in buildings the balance might shift a bit on the Zed's side. But until then, It's players by one hell of a large margin. -
Rocket has stated before he has plans for *end-game* if a phrase like that even belongs in a game like Dayz, you decide. But I've seen him talk about AI death squads, something similar to raiding, underground structures, working power plants, and a lot of other things he has in mind to give people who want to play cooperatively more of a reward than playing by yourself shooting people in cherno that earned their equipment and then stealing it like a little bitch... Everyone has the right to play how they want though.. nothings really going to change unless Rocket says so.

Epi-pens are going to be useless to you unless your playing in a group, seeing as you can't exactly use one on yourself when your unconscious lol, I very rarely carry them around unless I'm running in a pack of 3+ people. -
It's really hard to play nice with people right now because 99% of people(Of the ones I've encountered) Will shoot on sight. Now I've just gotten to the point where if I see someone sniping I'll toss a couple road flares, sneak up behind them.. open my comms and ask if friendly ::Wait for Response:: When I don't get one I just shoot them in the leg, take their morphine out of their backpack and run away.

As long as it's a hive server if you were playing on a hive server, or a private if you were playing on a private server you should spawn in the same position as before... But I hate to break it to you other hospitals could be barbed wired as well so you may just have to take your time with it and stay level headed and pray that Rocket finishes the stuff about having sandbags/tank traps/wire having a decay timer. -
A friend I play with has the worst luck in video games I've ever seen. You are not alone in this, bad days happen.. It's best to just take a break after you die and get angry about it.. then come back with a cool head. My friend and I were looting Cherno early this morning on fresh characters after getting sniped in the NWAF by campers for about an hour. Made our run through the cafe's/corner buildings only to realize there was some asshole sitting on the school roof sniping people with a lee enf. So I get a lucky winchester round off and pop him in the face only to lawl as his body flies off the building. My friend proceeds to make sure the coast is clear and there are no other players present. So we scope the area out and listen for any more gunshots. He then prones over to the guys dead body, manages to loot some mags/food, gets in the crouch walk position only to get popped in the head by a sniper. He then respawned and got axed in the face on 3 separate spawnings. Long story short, He knows that feel bra

From my experience it's either from server hoppers making sure no one can get in the area they're hopping in between servers to loot.. possibly running from a player and hiding in a building. Or they're just one of those many griefers on this game that just enjoy ruining peoples gaming experience. -
Your an idiot for not realizing he's a relatively new player and may know nothing of the Suggestion forum. So how about you take a couple steps down from your throne your highness and chill out, If the devs want it in the suggestion forum, I have no doubt in my mind they will move it... Sounds like a lot of really cool ideas that I'm sure a lot of people would love to see in the game! We can only wait and see with what Rocket plans on doing with this mod.. Personally I can't wait for the potential underground structures he talked about in the recent Rezzed Vid.

This is mere conjecture on my end, but I think it was removed due to the fact that it had a thermal scope.. so why would adding any weapon in the game with a thermal scope be acceptable at this point unless they re-implement the L85. -

Hitting through walls, walking through objects - i am pretty sure that they will be ironed out at some point, but whinging because an Infected psycho can now run faster than you, or can run indoors, or see further than 50m? Boo Farking Hoo! Players like you are exactly what is wrong with gamer's. When someone throws a logical point or illogical I don't really give a shit... You really went in the direction of picking on someones spelling... in a game designed in fucking Prague not everyone's primary language is English. If people don't say anything and let bugs go unnoticed how are you actually helping the game to evolve and be a better experience than it was a month ago? I'm sorry.. If they don't *Whine* Hitting through walls and moving through objects like fences/doors/walls is pretty fucking BIG. When you find 99% of loot inside buildings that have these things called doors/walls. All in all, 1.7.2 is probably going to get toned down. Zombie running in buildings would be A-Ok with me as long a he fixed their movement/hitting through walls.. I wouldn't even mind the extended detection range to be honest. -
Hey guys, I'm pretty new to the DayZ mod but have been playing for about 3-4 weeks now. I'm not looking to start a flame war or anything of the sort, but I would really like to understand the logic behind some of the changes being made in 1.7.2 I've been reading about across the internet(They may not be true, but I'm going to assume they are for the sake of this post.) From what I've been reading Rocket is planning on having zombies running inside buildings, I understand they have no real legitimate reason to walk inside buildings and such.. But the current situation with the buggy nature of zombies coming through walls and such seems this would merely create a whole new set of problems with the game(This is of course my opinion, I would gladly gear the logic to support this change but I cannot comprehend it at the moment.) Fucking bear traps. I don't really know what to say about this when medical supplies are camped on just about every server with over 20-25 people. Since I'm going to assume they're probably going to do something along the lines of breaking your leg as well as make you bleed at the same time, perhaps even forcing you to be stuck in place until you can "un-arm" the trap. This is going to create a very, very dangerous experience in the areas where there is good loot. I am not a carebear, I love a hard game that makes me play very cautiously.. I just think a trap that would do something like what i mentioned above is out of line and un-needed.. I would much rather see new items in the game like kevlar/armor piercing rounds to counter it. A larger reward for working in a group as surviors/bandits. Perhaps some kind of HQ for bandits/survivors as well where firing is disabled inside the building and would allow players to make it some kind of a trading hub.. This is just my rambling but if anyone can justify the logic of these changes I would gladly keep an open mind about them. The problem is, there really isn't anything to do once your fully geared BUT PvP... Helping new players with a full gear set is only going to get you shot in the back.
