I just started playing again after a few month hiatus. Not much is new in terms of gameplay, but the new maps are a lot of fun. I got a bit bored running around Chernarus pretty quickly. I installed Lingor and have been having a great time exploring that map. Once I get bored there I will move on to Panthera.

I have hit that point on a few characters. It is kind of a downer because you really have no motivation to keep searching. i usually start heading south and hope to meet up with some cool people. I pack my bag with medical supplies and look for people in need. I've gotten killed every time, but then i get to enjoy my time searching for the basics again.

You are better off avoiding players in game regardless of circumstance unless you are steam buddies or something.

Getting hit through walls is pretty annoying. Even more annoying is getting your leg broken by zombies hitting up through stairs. I have learned to avoid walls if zombies are around, but with stairs you can't avoid them.

A medical box spawns behind the hospital and sometimes there are supplies on the roof. Just in case you do not want to or are incapable of breaking the glass.

I have never seen them in 40 hours and I hit adecent number of hospitals/grocery.

Heh seriously. I had a 9 day character die by exiting a tractor :|

Crossbow is awesome now that it is back to one hit one kill. There are plenty of weapons. You just have to look in the right places.

I agree with the above. It is server dependent.

I think they may have increased food in grocery stores and decreased elsewhere. I hit up the grocery stores in Berizino and found maybe 10-15(between both of them) cans of food inside. Maybe a can here and there in barns/residential.
