Man, your posts are really long....haha... I only say that because it's almost midnight and I'm drunk (no work tomorrow ;) Anyway...me and two buddies play. 25ish range. One is a PL in the Army and he eats this shit up. We're doing alright by ourselves but in the future may need a good clan. I'd love to get in on this group and fill up a server full of friendlies. Atlanta 59 may be nice if there aren't a lot of PKers. I'll read this whole thread later...

I've been playing since Saturday night. At first I would have agreed with you about a melee weapon at start. I still do, to some degree. But it's alright. Once you die enough you'll get the hang of it, so it's not really necessary. If anything, it teaches you how to play the game... Hell, I'm playing with two friends and we're doing pretty good (besides the fact that one just died...). I just found an ALICE pack, got 15 things of food, a tent, weapons, and medical supplies to last us a good while. All we need to do is establish the tent in a good hiding spot then we will flourish. But...there is an installer dude. It's probably the easiest thing I've ever used, next to Steam. I downloaded it, hit install, then picked a server and played. Boom. So...yea.
