This saves the hassle of logging in and out between two different steam accounts. The purpose of it is to export both your CD keys so you only have to double click the registry file and confirm the changes in order to "switch" between accounts

Admin abuse is a great way to show your support! "Aaah a hacker. Let's ban EVERYONE". If you knew what you were doing as a server owner you'd be more able to find out who the hacker was. There's no need to ban innocent players.

If you would like a TeamSpeak server to use, you can create a channel for free on ts.kgservers.com - It's a 500 slot public DayZ Server. I'd be happy to help you setup your channel (I'm a server mod). See the link in my signature for more info!

This will only show the displayable key. You want to have the key installed in your registry to sabe it from it's hex form. Changing steam accounts and running arma2 before loading dayz *should* change the key. I find it easier just to use the saved keys, however.

You can do this without steam. You just have to be sure you saved your reg key before uninstalling the game before installing the second copy. The reason I suggest steam is because it will save your key incase you lose it. If you are using hard copies then your key will always be protected as it is saved on the disk. If you lose it you can just reinstall it. I suggest exporting your current key and saving it as "Player1" in a safe location in your documents. Then uninstall it completely and install the second copy. Then save the new key as "Player2", Then all you would need to do is run the required key, just by double clicking it and pressing OK, before playing loading the game

I got a bit bored when dayz was down, so I photoshopped my version of what I think the DayZ website should look like in order to be more in-line with the new forum. I imagined it being more crisp and using some JQuery to liven up the animations and transitions. I could have done better, but I scavenged images already on the website instead of running around chernarus trying to take screenshots. What do you think? Both Mumble and TeamSpeak have their own benefits. You have to remember this teamspeak server is not hosted by the DayZ staff, but rather by players just like you who are spending money from their own pocket and giving up their own time to run a server for public use.

I thought that too, but when I shifted time image to the right (So the player around the fire showed) It became 3 of essentially the same image stacked ontop of each other and looked very bland. If I could be bothered to scout chernarus for some nice images I could probably find a better replacement, but quite honestly that's a lot of effort for something that probably wont even be acknowledged by rocket
