I was also banned from CA20 about 15 minutes after CannedYeti was banned for calling the admin out on an abuse of power since the ban was not justified in any method.

I was providing overwatch for a medic in Cherno for a city rescue. We had recently acquired a helicopter and so we thought it would be fun to drop me off on top of the hotel in Cherno since none of us had ever been up there. after the rescue, I had to eat dinner with the family so i disconnected to sit in the lobby. I come back only to find that the helicopter had been shot down. now i'm stuck on top of the hotel with no way down. Is there any way someone would be willing to come and rescue me? I'll pretty much agree to any terms, I just don't want to die of starvation or dehydration waiting for my squad to find another chopper. Understandably this is a pretty far out request with the danger attached to rescuing a stranger, and the high value of helicopters, but if anyone would be willing, I'd be forever in debt. haha. upwards of 300 zed kills on this character and i don't wanna just jump off!

then I wasn't asking for you to comment. All I was asking was for someone to grab me and drop me off like right next to the hotel and never see me again. I could care less about the helicopter. more hassle than they're worth in my opinion. I ended up jumping off anyway. haha

soooo. It didn't work out in my favor. At first I survived the jump. landed on the truck, broke my legs but only lost like 200 blood. after I crawled off, gave myself a bandage and a morphine and stood up, then I died randomly... haha

I disconnected under a tree and then reconnected to our home server through DayZ Commander. When I clicked "OK" to spawn into the server the game went through the usual loading screens until all of a sudden up pops the choose male or female screen... I tried disconnecting and reconnecting as per other forum posts but to no avail. The only thing i'd bitch about is the coyote backpack that i've lost now, but other than that. just a bug report. :)

I thought they removed the L85 from the game because of the CoD players complaining it was too overpowered.

This seems backwards to me. How come players are getting updates for their systems before any of the servers are even allowed the update? 1.7.2.2 rolls out and all players get the update but 99% of the servers are still running 1.7.2, rendering them unplayable by everyone who has updated. Are there plans to reverse the situation in the future, so updates roll out simultaneously like every other game ever made? haha.

I'm not sure if you noticed, but the game is in Beta... Shit happens on updates. If you want to rage quit over losing some pixels and coding, those of us who have any sense of understanding will giggle at how cute you are and enjoy the game without you. :)

Shout out to Brian and Austin from the RMG team! I had just finished raiding stary and the NW airfield for goodies and took a couple too many bullet wounds and zombie hits! Down to 2.5k blood, I submitted a request and within a half hour they were at my location and gave me a successful Blood Transfusion. Back to 12k blood, still alive with all my gear (minus a gillie suit that I donated to support their efforts!) The RMG Medical team ROCKS! After my experience with them, I might even submit a request to be one of the medics or a support!!! Seriously recommend them if you guys are in dire need of medical assistance!

of course the people who don't know how to use them get all the good guns. :p the orange vision is thermal, and there is not a way to switch to normal scope. You have to choose between thermal or NV.

Server resets often cause things to disappear. I've lost several vehicles, tent locations, weapons, and gear because of server resets. the basic morale of DayZ is this: "Don't get attached to your personal belongings."

+1 to this with the added suggestion of also doing the same thing for the sidearm slot and flashlight. As the PDM for my group I have yet to find a rifle with a flashlight on it while all my friends are running around with M4's and Remingtons with flashlights attached. haha.

okay. I just happens at the most random times. like sitting in the middle of cherno after no activity for an hour, I logged out to get some snacks and came back and logged in and it happened.

Does anyone know of a legend for this? Aside from the low yields, there are things like a red "p", a box with a flag off the upper left corner, Blue square boxes... etc. yet I cannot find a legend for the map! Anyone got any ideas?

It's noon right now. I live 30 minutes north of Seattle. I look outside my window and it's sunshine. (well, overcast... but nonetheless, bright out) So why are all the seattle servers currently dark!? This makes no sense to me!

awesome! I'll check it out. Still kinda getting my bearings with the game, So I'm trying to stick to lower populated servers. :P

Well, not EVERY server. But the last 10 that I've tried have all been between 9:00 PM. and 1:00 AM... and yet I tried 20 last night. (wrote them all down I can tell you exactly which servers) They were all dark as well. Is Seattle in perpetual night time? haha
