Personally, meeting up with your friends is somewhat of a fun aspect and I'd be upset if you're ever allowed to pick spawns.

I think this would be pretty cool. I'm not sure how many lakes there are offhand, so that might need added or maybe a long stream or something.

Play the game like you're a damn ninja. Sneak like your life depends on it. Stay in the bushes and outskirts of towns. If you're being chased by zombies in town, stand up and run like the wind. If you're running full speed they can't hit you so start zigzagging in and out of rooms and buildings and you'll lose them in no time. Zombies really aren't that bad, you just have to get used to them and realize that they can't hit you if you're standing and running. Once you're free of a zombie tail, return to ninja mode.

1) Farming zombies for food is poop. You can raid supermarkets, just stay out of the popular cities. Hunting animals and using a fire to cook the meat may be a pain, but you get 800 blood per steak instead of 200 from yo beans. 2) You can technically make bases with tents and some people put up wire, but honestly there is nothing really secure about these unless they're hidden. With current game mechanics people can log in where they want so if you put up some type of wall or set up a base in a building, they can always log in behind your defenses.

OP has a funny post history, a few pages of "CAN MY COMPUTER RUN THIS GAME, PLEASE HELP" followed by a few pages of "DAYZCOMMANDER IS A VIRUS, IT'S A VIRUS, DON'T DOWNLOAD IT, THIS PROGRAM IS A VIRUS" but if you look hard enough you can find posts like " I like this game". I'd check his post history, it's good for a few chuckles.

Brief break from DayZ since I didn't want to fiddle with sixlauncher, but I finally manually updated and was able to get in 7-29-12 Logged in north of Elektro and was able to finally drop my tent after some advice on the forums, saved it and immediatly left. I just wanted to see how it worked and now I know.... I know that it's on a server that I forgot about since it wasn't my normal server.... Oops. I cut some wood and make a fire after finding a boar nearby. I fill up at the small lake north of Elektro and after a meal and drink I head down to the northern firestation. I loot the side buildings first and find an m203 HE round and some MP5SD rounds, I decide to not pick those up and move on. I come across a fence kit, I've never played with these so I'll give it a shot. I walk into the building through the back door and fence off the back door. Pretty neat. After closing all the doors I find a lone AKM on the ground with no mags. Weird to me, but I move on, next floor is a shotgun with slugs, I keep moving forward and start hearing flies, so I approach slowly, next floor ak-74 and 2 mags, no room in my bags for an extra weapon so I slowly make my way to the top floor and find a dead body. Nothing of interest there. As I make my way down I see someone coming towards me so I book it into the hills east of the firestation, I let him get inside and then start heading towards the doors. I see him start to leave, but am still a bit further away than I'd like, so I fire some shots and he ducks back into the station, which I'd hoped for. What I didn't hope for was Zed aggro, just one but I'm under fire now so I make a choice, run and gun at the other player. Luck was with me as I strafe-circle the entrance to the door from a fair distance and hit him a couple times, he drops and I'm not sure if he went prone or if I broke his legs, shooting while strafing isn't easy. So I take cover outside of the building around the corner to deal with my zombie friend. Border Patrol was killed. Was that my target? I slowly peak around the corner to find the target of my dead friend. I was surprised to find that I had given him enough time to loot the ak-74 from the 3rd floor before I was able to get to the firestation. I was hurt but not bleeding so I had myself another steak and decided to log out near my tent. So I head back to my tent, drink and refill my bottle. After exiting game I realize that I have no idea what server I was on, but overall my goal was to learn about the tent, not really to use it. I don't normally live long enough to enjoy fun toys that I find.

Ok I was curious what you meant by gaining player data under other circumstances in your earlier post?

I'm not able to read the posts right now, but from what I did read it seemed more like customizing weapons with items you find. Yes please, and yes I crafting too. I'm a big fan of customizition so I'm all for adding crafting and more items.

I'm infatuated with the game. Not rocket, however I like the way he is approaching development. Stress testing was just my example, I don't work at a game studio or anything like that so I don't know what reasons he would have for not wanting private servers attached to a private hive. However he dislikes them and I support his decision. He's never given me a reason to believe he's ever put his personal best interest ahead of the mod. Honestly if he came in this thread and said "private servers and hives are awesome" I'd make a character on one to check it out, but I don't know that to be true. I don't believe in a "victimless crime" scenario. Edit: can they get data from servers unattached to the public hive? I'm not going to pretend like I know how it works.

I've only been kicked for ping. But I've seen streamers get kicked with no reasons before.

You won't get banned for picking up a hacked weapon but your account does get flagged, what happens with flagged accounts is unknown at this point I believe.

I will apologize (caught that typo Izz) to Zace again. For everything, I was fairly annoyed at that point for some reason the mix up only frustrated me more.

Oh then maybe you should have avoided saying the steam sale brought COD kids and then the phrase "hate 12 year olds with rifles" and you also said that the game was ruined by the steam sales. Meaning that the cod kids ruined the game because they all bought it when it went on sale. I was poking fun at you in my First when I called you a hipster. But I totally disagree with your OP also.

Only if they make a point that now the game is mainstream its ruined and not as good as it used to be. I thought I made that clear in my first post.
