What about you calling them "gay" does that not refer to gay people anymore too? Seriously though tons of players can run this without the issues you have, which means its not a problem with something at the "core" it's either a local or server issue. -
Do you actually play this game, or just pretend like you do to fit in on the forums. You're going to lose your stuff A LOT to things way dumber than a server migration. Seriously this is a non-issue.

That's called catering and it's a bad thing. It's also a slippery slope. Meeting up with friends and traveling are part of the game. "hey guys let's all spawn at balota and gear up super quick, oh we died? Let's try cherno, then elektro if that doesn't work." You really dont see how that's a problem? No work involved in getting to the city or meeting up at all. Making things easier isn't the best answer. That's how games devolve into hand holding crap.

This thread lol. Maybe you're a victim of your environment. I'm in the US and play on local severs to my area midwest servers. I don't have connection or lag or server issues. I can't agree with 90% of your post. So for me it's insanely easy to play a mod that's still heavily in development. -
Eventually the game is going standalone. When that happens you'll probably have to start over. When you play a mod that's being developed or a game, you have to be prepared for an update that makes you reset your progress.

Kinda like a missed connections forum. I had a crazy encounter last night with guys that had [sith] tags in their name near the fire station north of elektro. Anyway, I wanted to give them props for getting me and thought it was a neat encounter and would have loved to chat about it. Now I see callout threads here and there, but I thought it might have been cool to have a place that people can post or look for other encounters they've had. I'd prefer a way to direct message someone directly somehow, but that doesn't seem like an option really. Yes/no/thoughts/suggestions/hate/etc

They weren't on the list. I also did a forum search for their clan and didn't find anything relevant. Unless you're forum name is directly tied to your ingame name that wouldnt work. I appreciate the suggestion though. -
I usually watch YouTube 24/7 so, I'm watching a video. Yesterday I watched an hour long video about the illuminati while I played for example.

When I was a teen I rolled my ankle and fractured it, after about 2 minutes I passed out and woke up a couple minutes later outside. It was a tiny hairline fracture and wasn't bad at all, but I still passed out. I've had worse injuries and never passed out since then, so it was kinda weird. That's my semi-relevant story. -
Bring back the respawn button

I would say enable respawn after maybe 20 minutes of a characters life. That way if they spawn and they're stuck, they only have to wait 20 minutes instead of waiting to starve to death. -
I found a bunch of items I've never used before like GPS, NV goggles and a DMR on a dead body on a roof overlooking the fire station north of electro. After taking these items his friend gunned me down. The story is longer than that, but basically I got to hold a few items I'd been wanting to play with and never got to use them :(

No, why would I? I used to run a Minecraft server, and didn't feel exploited at all. I really don't see your point to be honest, this is a proven working model that's been in operation for years. Also I really don't see how your tentsave stops server hopping, it'll stop an alt f4, but what stops someone from pitching a tent, logging out looting a building, pitching a tent, logging out looting a building etc? Also if characters aren't saved if you don't use the tent method does that mean if I get killed and altf4 I'll join with my character that has his gear, since when I died I never saved it? -

Why would that be a delay at all? You'd have to play on a new server. It happens all the time on a bunch of games with player run servers. I'll use minecraft and gmod as quick examples. -
Rocket said you won't get banned but your account does get some kind of mark against it. He didn't make it clear but he said keeping the weapon is a bad idea.

Didn't rocket say that he wants to always keep the public hive? So a character per server would create more stress on the hive right? If characters are stored on a server wouldn't that allow the host to edit the character files? I would be fine with a character per server, but I don't like the train of thought that it's the only solution. -
