There are no Arma2 profiles and I can't create one. How do I fix?

It displays a new profile, just like how you would apparently create one, but I can't change the name on it from PLAYER 1. Whenever I confirm the new profile it doesn't appear on the list but my name stays as PLAYER 1.

Just a cool feature I thought of. I think you should be able to customize your hair and hat in a different category than your face. I've always imagined riding my dirt bike down a road with my AS50 on my back and shoulder length, blonde hair flowing behind. Aviators on my face. Just how I look in real life, minus the gun. Anybody else think it'd be a cool feature?

So, this morning I got the update for the beta and the sixlauncher updated something, and now this error comes up when I try to connect to a server. What do I do guys?

Whenever I create a new character, it won't let me change my player name. I click, double click, backspace, type, everything, but the Player Name field always says "PLAYER 1" and I can't change it. I play in servers as PLAYER 1 because I can't change my name. How do I fix the player name field guys? Please help I can't play as PLAYER 1 forever.

I killed these two guys, and got some meat steaks and a Czech backpack with an AKM and morphine in it. I dropped the AKM for there was no ammo and my Lee Enfield has 90 rounds. I logged off for the night. I come back now and the meat steaks, my soda, morphine, and my food were all gone, and the AKM was back. Does anyone else have problems with things disappearing in their back?

Does anybody know any servers in America that still have side chat turned on?

No, since the patch I've been on a few servers with side chat still there.

Don't be sorry at all man!! Yesterday I deceived two people into joining me outside of Elektro in side chat, and when we finally found each other I shot them both 3 times with my M1911. I got a bunch of meat and medical supplies out of it, but it all disappeared in my pack today...

I'll join, add me on Steam. I have teamspeak too. My name on steam is the same as it is on here, and I turn 14 this July.

I shot and killed two people after deceiving them in side chat. I got some good loot but it disappeared in my backpack, I just posted a thread about that. But yea, nice work. I have yet to find a good sniper.

I keep getting this problem I don't know what it means, and I can't fix it. The list of created players is empty, and when I try to create a new character it doesn't appear on the list. How do I fix it? I tried re-installing Arma 2 but not the DLC. Could that be the problem?

So I go on a server, and it turns out there are only 4 people on and only 60 zombies on the map. So I run through Cherno and get a shit ton of ammo for the Lee Enfield and M1911, painkillers, and plenty of food. Everything EXCEPT Morphine. Now I have a broken leg because of a ninja zombie. what do I do guys?

So you know when you create a profile in Arma 2, there's a list that it goes on in the Select Character menu? Well the Select Character menu is blank for me. It doesn't even show my main character. Whenever I create a new character, nothing happens, the list stays blank. Any help guys?

It doesn't. Not on a DayZ or an Arma 2 server. I've noticed that the folder that the profiles goes in does not exist, what is the name and location of that folder so I can create it?

I was running through Elektro because a mob of a bout 20 zombies was chasing me. I had just spawned and only had a Winchester with 30 rounds. So this group of 5 survivors runs up and saves my ass. They mowed all of them down with m4's and things. When they asked if I wanted to join them, I replied "No thank you, but thanks for saving my ass!" We then exchanged food and medical supplies and went on each other's way. Or so they thought.... I stalked them along the road to Cherno, hidden in the treeline, for about a half hour. They stopped to set up a small camp because they had just killed 2 lambs. While they were setting up, I sighted the one that gave me some morphine and bandages, and shot him in the head. None of his friends had any fucking idea where they were being shot at from, I just picked them all off 1 by 1. Eventually they all lay dead and I had a large heap of valuable equipment. Anybody else got interesting stories?

I did all of that. I think I just need to re-install the game. Fucking took 11 hours last time....

ALPHA ALPHA ALPHA

Okay: I'm going to be VERY THOROUGH since nobody understands what I am talking about. Problem 1: I CANNOT SEE MY CREATED PROFILES. It's like I don't even make them. The list of profiles isn't existent whenever I try to edit one. Problem 2: I CANNOT USE THE PLAYER NAME TYPING AREA. In the place where you create a profile, I cannot click or type in the place where you type your player name. I need to know how to fix it. Please understand that I just started today, so I don't know if these are common bugs or if it's an error with my game. GUYS PLEASE I AM DESPERATE. I'VE LOOKED EVERYWHERE AND NOBODY ELSE IS HAVING THIS PROBLEM.

My created profiles aren't listed. They don't appear where the created profiles list is supposed to be.
