Part of a small server that only has a few people on it, most of which are one clan who are the "Good guys" of the server. We get bored. Want an apposing group. Suggestion being, we've provided a nice amount of supplies for whomever would take said place of the Bandit group as well as a UH-1H Events included are: Capturing of Elektro/Cherno. (Both groups stay in selected town until only one remains) Skirmishes (Selected areas where both groups face one another using whatever tactics they can come up with) And other such Events. Please PM me if interested. Requirements: 16+, Mic, Use of TeamSpeak, Agreement to the simple rules of no hacking. ---- While this is only an idea, we're attempting to push it forward. If this works up, we also plan to advertise the server later -UniversalLeo AKA Jacob Cobbs

How i was murdered(We are all people trying to survive and we are better together Dont shoot on sight)

Buddy, this game isn't meant to be fair, there will always be people who want to shoot you just because they can. Advice, find a group or if you wanna work it solo, be more careful and pay attention to your surroundings. -
I Love this idea, in fact, tomorrow if this isn't on the main page! I'm gonna bump it! Nice idea again and was quite a good read.

Requesting a guide to looting
UniversalLeo replied to Shaimou's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
My Suggestion, stay near the outskirts of towns and Deer-stands until you have supplied yourself enough for an assault inside town. That would normally work but now that you no longer spawn with food, you'd have to be quick about it at least. While the option of being in a team, of at least two, is still a better idea for covering more ground; but if you want the lone-wolf approach avoiding towns at the beginning is the best approach and just hope for the best at barns and deerstands. Simple fact, Hope for the best but expect the worst. -
Okay, After reading eight pages of Rocket doing his best to explain what he's attempting here and watching some people get it while others just don't seem to understand, I have to say this. This is a Mod. With the Pro of being "free" as he said. This mod alone has made ARMA II a large sum of money in a short amount of time and, unlike other mods that are found on many different games, the community is truly wishing for it to evolve and survive. I believe that Rocket is doing everything he can right now and that we, as a community, should all just be glad that he decided to do this in the first place. There will always be "carebears" and the such but that is a given. All in all, i believe rocket must be proud of his work that he's accomplished so far and of the amount of feedback that he's been given. If any of this has been said above, I apologize for saying it again but, as i said, Rocket is doing one hell of a Job and quite frankly, if this mod ever does make it to a full-release that requires money, I'm willing to pay whatever it is. Seeing how i'm sure he won't screw us.

I have to admit, this is amazing. Just absolutely amazing. I can't wait to see more done by you!

So today, after having my four day bandit murdered ruthlessly, I ended up spawning in elektro and crawled my way down to the church. Where I found an empty m1911 which i bagged. There were at least 6 zombies on every street so it made life difficult. But nevertheless, I left the church and headed to the hotel building down the street. Survivor in a doorway saw me. Thinking he wouldn't dare shoot me with all the zeds around, i just turned to leave. Then I was dead. Oddly enough, i re-spawned about a street away from where I died, so i snuck to my corpse while he was busy and took what i needed. A group of two survivors saw me and let me leave. So they could hunt me. I made it to the firehouse before i noticed them and got shot down like a dog. *sigh* All i wanted was to be a somewhat nice bandit. At times. Be logical when it came to zed filled cities and such. But I guess there is no place for kindness for a bandit.

I was waiting at the NW airfield control tower for a friend to get there when this poor soul appeared from around the corner of the farthest hanger, just looting what he could. Being the kind bandit I am, I helped him past the horde and gave him enough oversight to get to me safetly. After he reached me we headed over to the firehouse, looted what few supplies was there then headed back to wait from my friend. Once he arrived I realized just how low on ammo he was and this random stranger seemed like an easy target for what we needed. We all went prone to avoid detection in the control tower rooftop and right before we decided to fill him full of lead, he D/C'd. Ughhh, So close, yet so far.

Last Night, a few minutes after I spawned I met this man named Cole along the coast between Electro. and Cherno. and convinced him to let me tag along. He told me he was in a hurry and that a friend of his in Cherno needed his help. I couldn't help but notice all the sweet gear he had, a bandit's holiday. My humanity had just gone high enough to lose the skin so I was being a very sneaking bandit. First time he stopped to start typing, I pointed my Makarov at his skull and preceded to empty the entire clip into him. He Collapsed and I then reloaded and emptied another clip just to be careful. I walked out with a pretty good pack, medical supplies, a m1911 with 3 mags, a CZ Scoped Rifle with 2 mags, and all the basic maps and gizmos i could ask for. I then proceeded to Electro and used a few corpses as bait for a few others before heading inland to group up. It was a Wonderful night to be a bandit.
