So I went to drink out of a pond this morning as a fresh spawn, another bug too, was geared swapped servers and was a fresh spawn, anyways. I was drinking then when the animation stopped I was still kneeling but sinking into the floor, once my head went underwater it teleported me back above the water then I sink again, over and over and over. I tried vaulting, crouching, standing, prone, rolling, swapped servers a few more times and still in the same spot. I have nothing to suicide with and can't drown myself because it teleports me above water each time. How can I kill myself so I can continue to play? or get out of that spot?

I just had to starve myself to death. A slow and painful way to go.

Happened to me too. Was looting an industrial building and that message popped up, nothing happened so I assumed it was a troll admin.

Why do all this in a town in the middle of the road?

Maybe if got sick (being wet/cold for an extended period) there was cough syrup, or if you got infected (zombie attack) you took antibiotics, headache/dizziness (shaking) you took painkillers broken leg you take morphine. But bloodbags I dont should exist maybe the ability to instantly heal after a fire fight just doesnt seem right. I like the saline after you pass out from being dehydrated or starved though.

Well I logged out fully geared and healed. I log back in an hour or so later missing my pants, backpack, boots and all the gear within. Also my screen is blurry now. I logged out in a bush in BFE with nobody near me. My remaining gear is still in pristine condition so I dont think i was attacked by anyone. Has this happened to anyone else?

I wouldnt care so much but every server is pitch black darkness and with no flashlight or compass i cant do anything cant even see my character much less anything around me. Wish i could respawn or something cant do anything

Yea I pressed Esc and clicked Exit then cooked dinner, ate dinner came back to pc started DayZ picked a server and logged in and 90% of my gear is gone.

I dont think so I prefered the mods health system Morphine for broken leg, blood bag for health, painkillers for the shakes. Being a solo player and trying to get freshspawns to give you bloodbags was easy in mod now that people can punch you to death in 2 hits it will be almost impossible to get someone to help you.

I was wondering if this is a part of the game? I was looting the firehouse in cherno when all of a sudden my character drops dead. I was maybe 20 minutes old no diseases no thirst or hunger never been touched by a zombie or anything just dropped dead while looting.

I was in 3rd person so I know that nobody snuck up behind me just trying to loot some shelves then death.

Even suppressed rounds make a sound, there was nothing just instant death.

apparently steam doesn't save screenshots, but since then i've gotten suppressor, RIS handguard, weaponlight, and m68 red dot.

Well I've died twice now because melee doesn't have any range, litterally can't hit a zombie standing as close as possible without going through them. Is this just me or is it a known bug?

Well apparently everyone but me is invicible I've died twice now to people that cannot be killed. The first person was kneeled down infront of a building so while there back was turned I ran up to them with a Kitchen Knife and stabbed them in the head about 10 times then the person starts looking around then turns and looks at me (im still stabbing him in the head its about 15-20 stabs at this point all headshots) he then pulls out a shovel and hits me 2-3 times and I start to bleed I continue stabbing him probably about 30 times in total everytime his head is bouncing around so I know I'm hitting him. He then knocks me unconcious after a few hits with shovel? The second time I come across a guy that just killed a fresh spawn so I sneak around the building to his back and shoot him with a few burst of my M4 (hes still kneeling over the corpse) then turns and looks at me so I shoot him in head 3-4 times he reloads his M4 and takes off running. So i chase him around the building shooting him again before he can round the corner he continues to run. He then turns around and shoots and kills me in 3-4 shots.

My character keeps getting reset as well.

Well I found me an M4 and just about everything you can stick on them, a mountaineering backpack, tactical clothing and vest. I logout because server is red chained, join another server and im fresh spawn? Where my gear go?

I guess its similar every server i join its a freshspawn and in a different location.

I thought this had 1 hive not every server is different?

Well I had a wrench the first time i died, then i picked up a screwdriver that didnt work either

got this error and kicked the second I equipped a ghillie suit.

big thanks for killing my character, picked up a gun off a dead guy and was instantly killed for hacking a weapon another week of surviving just for some random server to kill my character.
