    Weapon box

It is hacked in, and you will not be banned for having hacked items. Some people will regard it as immoral to take the items, but it is really for you to decide!
  2. This is what happens when you download hacking programs. Live and Learn. And buy a new CD key. And the Dayz team can do nothing about this. And you can go and get f*cked.
  3. Wanting something and being attached to it are 2 different things. Everyone wants an L85 & AS50, but when you have one, don't become over-reliant on it, because you'll lose it and be screwed when you die!

    Barbed Wire Gone 2 Far

So people fortify buildings, what's the issue? It'd happen in a survival situation, the only thing unrealistic is that zombies can get through! What's wrong with a tool to cut it? That's what wire cutters are for, which you might find in a toolbox!

If you want to read the whole thread, and look at how he avoids questions and takes criticism like a nun takes cock (i.e. not at all), it would be much appreciated.

I hope you realise you DIDN'T use the quote system the first time. That is why I didn't spot your reply. Your suggestions are a step backwards in terms of simulation, and will make the game less enjoyable, as you will not be able to reap the rewards from your kills. The tent suggestion is OK, however it is a reward to have been able to successfully get to your tent form the coast, and everything to still be there. Taking from your own body: It should be your killers choice whether you get to keep your items, and 'Hide Body' works fine for now. Equally, you start as a new character (hence the gender select) so it is not 'your' body but that of a previous survivor. Also, the dev team are now working on the standalone to be released before christmas, so none of this will be fixed or implemented before that is complete!

Please answer the following questions: http://dayzmod.com/forum/index.php?/topic/94623-the-lesser-of-two-evils/page__st__20#entry889424 Also, you were posting each point on an individual post, please use multi-quote in future.

Realism is a good reason. It's a simulator. i asked you questions 2-3 posts ago and you didn't even answer them. Read more carefully. Please read the post above about picking stuff up, he got it absolutely spot on.

I find vehicles all the time, you want to put in no time and get vehicles instantly. Not going to happen! I have found multiple vehicles each day, you just need to move around the map more!

Why do you hate yourself for it? People killing people happens, zombies or no zombies. In reality, people are punished, but with no punishment system, more people kill each other to get better gear. You are effectively stopping noobs gearing up off other players? No, you misunderstand. If hackers are killed, they drop stuff. People pick this up, and hackers still have high-end gear, all it means s that high end gear is more popular. Are you from the US? Why does everyone have the right to bear arms? Because criminals have guns, so to defend yourself, you need what the criminal has. Guns. When you have no guns, what do you do? You get killed by criminals with Guns. When you have guns, you can have a chance of killing the criminals before they kill you. Same with hackers. This is not condoning hackers, merely saying that more high-end weapons = easier to counter hackers.

It makes sense if you are a different person every time you respawn. Why should you not be able to keep a vehicle from one day to the next? Ok, you can keep items when you die, what's the big issue with this? Surely anyone can take stuff from your tent, and they can't be hidden well, so you could lose everything. Its about risk vs reward, and invulnerability isn't there because you lose what you are carrying when you die, and it is usually taken by your killer or another person if zeds get you. Plz answer my Questions.
  13. You... pay your friends to be your friends?
  14. IndyAM

    The lesser of two evils.

Yes it does need some things addressing, however the team are working on the standalone not the mod. Also there are limitations with the engine. And all of your suggestions are utter shite of the highest order. Please go and bury yourself in sand up to the neck at a local beach and wait for the tide to come in. No-one will loot your body. Promise.

    The lesser of two evils.

Yes, your only interest is yourself. There is no level playing field, those with better things, who invest more time, get vehicles and better weapons, and survive longer. Why are you trying to change that? Your suggestions wouldn't hurt hackers, if anything they'd flourish even more as only they would have high-end weapons and everyone else would have makarovs to be 'fair'. Take your communist zombie game and develop it yourself.
  16. And he charges you $10 for an in-game weapon you're going to lose anyway. I wonder why no-one likes him!

Basically, when you die, you become someone new. This means you can loot your own body. Why would Rocket test your awful suggestions rather than work on the standalone? Particularly when there are much better ones with no downsides. Generally, you can't get your stuff back after 5 minutes. The person who killed you took your stuff, and you spawn a distance away. Occasionally you get a lucky spawn. This is as close to a sandbox as possible, and why should we not run around with rules? Who decides the rules? You? Why? Where do you end the rules? Your suggestions are ridiculous, and note what little support you would have from the other comments. Please re-think, and tell the ladies and gentlemen how it would be beneficial other than "We need rules because I keep getting killed and am too incompetent to find decent weapons/tents/vehicles".

    The lesser of two evils.

Let me QUOTE DIRECTLY FROM ROCKET'S POST I LINKED TO IN MY LAST POST: His game, his rules. A body can be looted for items, you know? It has happened throughout history and happens today. Had you suggested that only you couldn't take stuff from your own body, we might have discussed it, but no-one looting bodies is awful. Why would you not take gear from someone who has died in this kind of survival situation? There is a contest, of survival. The best equipped survive the longest, it is basically a food chain. Are you suggesting there is no competition element to the game?
  19. IndyAM

    The lesser of two evils.

Yeah, they're shite suggestions. Not realistic, or in-keeping with Rocket's vision for the game. PvP has been designed and implemented by Rocket, and is supported as a method of gameplay. Please check out THIS and THIS for further commentary by Rocket, by making it less realistic, it becomes less of a social experiment and there becomes more of a 'Right way' to play the game.

    The lesser of two evils.

Why would any of this be implemented? It would be a huge step backwards in terms of simulation and suits only one style of play. The idea is that the mod is open-ended and can suit any play style! These are just awful suggestions! The net effect will be absolutely suicidal in terms of overall playability and player numbers.
  21. What great friends you have

    Visibility Issues

Not all are hacked, it was in the game for a while before being removed. That is not to say that most aren't hacked, because they are, but some (very few) are legit.

    Item/Weapon List | Prices

That would be a task of epic proportions. You could just ask the main shops what they are offering for what and check that way?

:o ;) Just shy of +11k, haven't killed anyone since it has been re-introduced, got my clan to do the hard work while I'm spotting :D
