  1. I kindly recommend you visit the ArmA 3 Alpha Steam forums.
  2. Ah yes, under-promise and over-deliver. That's just what Sergey would do. :D Nice work, fellas. My credit card is ready. EDIT - Btw, I like these raw, "thrown-together" video blogs. I see them as a way to quickly touch base with the players/fans. Besides, if you posted a polished, professionally-produced "behind the scenes" mini-documentary each go 'round, people would bitch that you should be expending that effort on the game instead. Cheers...
  3. Stokin' the fires...stokin' the fires... Will there be a wearable mo-cap suit in the game? Easter egg, maybe? :D
  4. You guys are amazing. Thank you!
  5. These screenshots put an unsightly bulge in my pants. The front; not the back. Great work, guys.
  6. Rocket: Take a break from all this madness and enjoy your holidays. Rest, relax and recharge...
  7. Latest ArmA 2 beta patches can also be found here: http://www.arma2.com/beta-patch.php
  8. Wow, nice work. No more delayed reaction and the bullets seem to have impact. Looking forward to the patch!
  9. I find this preferable to being entered. Looking good, Rocket!
  10. This is the only forum I frequent where this is friendly, helpful advice.
  11. Destitution Simulator 2012
  12. Toilet paper could become the game's most-prized commodity (commode-ity?). Finally, some logical loot for the outhouses ("Food? From the outhouse? I'll pass.").

I have done this in my noob days - went prone under a tree after looting the Cherno construction site and returned to the Terrifying Screen of Doom. I'm not sure if a zombie followed me up the hill, or a sniper heard me lift the toilet seat. I've since learned my lesson, and keep a bucket under my chair for such emergencies.
  14. Radeon 6450 is barely a gaming gpu at all, sorry to say: http://www.guru3d.com/article/radeon-hd-6450-review/3
  15. Manual install. http://www.arma2.com/beta-patch.php
  16. I can vouch for the Logitech G930 headset. The simulated 7.1 is quite remarkable in DayZ, and the directional sound is very accurate. It's easy to pinpoint the sound of gunshots or zombies...and the wireless feature is great.
  17. Have you tried gpu monitoring software using MSI Afterburner, EVGA Precision or similar programs? Set up the on-screen display to show gpu usage, temps, ram usage and such. If you're running the game anywhere near max settings, it'll want to use far more than the 896MB your card has, and this can definitely cause major hitching, freezes etc. Also, use task manager to see if you are maxing out system ram as well (2GB is pretty minimal these days). This will cause hard drive pagefile swapping, which will also cause freezes/hitching etc. Good luck.
  18. Sorry to say the 6150 LE is integrated graphics, and quite old and weak at that. Your cpu is very weak as well, but could squeak by if you had a dedicated gpu (a GTX 460 is probably the maximum card that your cpu could feed). However, that would likely require a new power supply unit of around 500 watts and PCI-E connectors. You'd also want at least 4GB of ram, which in turn would require a 64-bit OS to fully utilize....and I think you see where this is going. Bottom line is by the time you upgrade your current system sufficiently to play the game at low-medium settings, you'd be halfway, costwise, to building a modern, and vastly more powerful pc.
  19. My brother and I have played on your server the past couple of nights (daylight in-game). Although we didn't get to experience the nighttime enhancements, it runs great and we had a blast. We live in PA and still had ping of under 100ms. There are a ton of zombies, and it made looting barracks insanely challenging and a lot of fun. I think I must have done 50 laps around one compound before I could get in. We died many times - good job!
  20. Mountain Dew you say? You'll be dead before sundown. :o
