@OP OK, so what you are saying in a nutshell is the following SpikeR, you have purchased this game but now i want to punish you for playing the game the way you do. I want to make it so you wont even bother playing anymore and then the rest of us can live in peace and harmony. Sorry, but i dont agree one bit. PvP has and will ALWAYS be part of DayZ ( be it the mod of SA). Its tears like yours that make me keep killing. Your whole post is just full of bias it is unreal WTAF! I agree totally with this! I just joined a server where it states your character will be auto killed and wiped from the hive if you join. I had nothing to lose anyway so i joined. Once in, it states that any KoS/PvP will get you auto killed and banned from the server. The Server details are below if you want to take a look. AnalAxe Clan 217.23.3.159:2702

Let me explain the last part for you. If they only had 1 server (stable), could you imagine the QQ that would come if they released a one of your bi-weekly updates that caused the game to be broken for half ( or all) of the player base? Its there for a reason ( and a very good one too).

Hey all, hopefully some of you will have more knowledge than me about this but here it goes. My Old PC was an I5 650 @3.2Ghz with 4gb DDR3 13333mhz ram. Gpu was same MSI R9 270 and i had a 500gb HD With that on uinigine Valley benchmark, i was getting an average fps of 30.1 with a score of 1288 ( everything on ultra with x8 AA) with 1920x1080P Now my new PC build is I7 479016bg DDR3 1600mhz ram250gb SSSDMSI R9 270 and my average FPS on same benchmark program with exact same settings is 20.4fps with a score of 846. Now, i am no computer expert at all, but this seems a little bit strange to me. Anyone got any ideas on what could be causing this?

well i did not know about it only affecting the GPU, but just by the amount of variation with results on my new PC has got me concerned. Just ran another test with the same settings and got 26fps with 1100 score. I tried playing DayZ (SA) and that is now unplayable. 14fps in the middle of nowhere. I even used the launch paramaters,config tweeks and played with the settings in game too. just got a result of 31.8 fps with 1388 score. Seems to be getting better. Found that windows had changed power management to power saver.....

well i got my new PC today. I7 4790 16gb DDR3 ram 240gb SSD MSI R9 270 and i get the epic amount of 14 fps... something must be wrong

Hello and thanks for reading :) I will start of by saying that i am not a very tech savy person hence i've taken for asking for help on the forums. Basically, i have recently purchased a MSI R9 270 graphics card, but due to my PC being old, i dont think i am getting the max it has to offer ( ARMA3 is unplayable for example). Now here are my current specs i have CPU: I5 650 GPU: MSI R9 270 RAM: 4gb DDR3 13333 (?) MHz and windows 7 premium. Now here is the big problem, i have around £150 atm to upgrade something to try and improve the performance of DayZ/Arma3 and im stuck between a new CPU/MOBO combo or more ram ( i need a mobo to upgrade the CPU or ram to better stuff as its an old 1156 (?) socket board). Any advice would be gratefully received.

Update. Upgraded the CPU to an I7 4770k and got a Corsair RM series 650W full modular PSU too. Hopefully, this will alow me to play DayZ at more than 18 fps in towns lol

Ok, did some looking around and stretched my budget a bit to alow for the following. I5 4670k MSI Z97 Guard Pro 16gb DDR3 1600mhz Corsair ram. Total cost is around £380 forgot to add a 250gb Crucial SSD for £80 to that list

Thanks for the info. I wont be over clocking to be honest as i have no idea what or how to even start to do it ( ive read that this I5 650 i have can be OC'd to 4Ghz somewhere).

Well i do try to avoid corsair after my nightmare with the 1500 headset i got from them breaking after a month then being told i had to pay to send them back to be fixed ( with was £40 with royal mail).

OK, thanks for the info. I am curious though. When i do upgrade what is needed, will it be best to upgrade the PSU too? I currently have a 500W PSU so im a bit worried about needing more power than i currently have.

I get you were using it as a reference and/or being sarcastic. BMP1 could work ( even with the MASSIVE design flaw) but warriors are not very technical ( or were not when i used them). Basic aluminium armour ( unless chobbam is installed) and the targeting systems are the same level as the BMP1. Hell, it did not even have a stabilized turret until the recent upgrades.

ive used tanks IRL (well warrior IFV's) and i can tell you for a fact that they take HUGE amount of maintenance to keep running :)

Ok i will bite. Please re-read the post/s i was referring too. The manor of the reply was/seemed to be claiming that i was wrong with my opinion of cheats being as prevalent as they were in the mod. If i have taken that the wrong way then im sorry, but guess what? This is the internet and it is very hard if not impossible to full grasp the meaning/emotion behind written text. As for the last part of me accepting his opinion, have you seen me claim he is wrong? Have you seen my post anything to try and debunk his claim/opinion? I stated my opinion, he stated his. We both disagreed and i stated that i had not seen that level of scripting in all my time on DayZ ( i could have been lucky?) I think it is you having the audacity to try and correct something that does not need correcting that is simply amazing.

Yeah Really. I never had anything like that happen on the server/server's that i played on period. Plenty of other stuff like Teleporting/Spawning stuff in. P.S Nice attitude for a forum mod. Try accepting people have their own points of view/opinions.
