i would do but like i said, the person that volunteered to be the one to handle the payments to Vilayer is MIA. I contacted them on Facebook and gave them the details they were asking for, but had no response since. The server did come back up at around 2345, but then went down again at 0030 with everyone online getting kicked for BE has stopped responding. Then the server just vanished again.

Well just a heads up from my exp with vilayer so far. A few of my friends and myself decided to chip in and get an Epoch server. Everything seemed to be going great until 5 days ago. Ever since then, come 17:00GMT the server is offline and the ACP is down too. My friend who pays the bill has informed us that this is due to Vilayer getting DDOS'd every night with out fail. What makes this funny, is the announcement of vilayers anti-ddos equipment/program. That seems to be working for you vilayer!

Rocket did say DayZ was meant to be unfair. But he also wanted to keep the realism as close as can be. AS50s are as rare as unicorn shit IRL. Letting them loose in DayZ just goes against the whole realism theme. Hell, go door to door in the UK/US and see just how many 50cals you find. My money is on a VERY small amount. best case i have ever seen was on a server i only play on. lets call the hacker player A to keep it simple. Admin watched player A and his friend spawn in a weapons crate and promptly banned them. Player A then logs onto our public TS3 server and demands proof he was hacking in 30 mins or he would take it to the DayZ forums under server abuse. Player A then does as he stated and comes on to the DayZ forums and starts a flame thread. Now for the best part! I google player A's name and find the EXACT name on a certain hack site. I check his profile and BAM it states 'only interested in DayZ and Minecraft hacks'. I then respond to the flame thread with this info and stating that i have gave it to a forum mod to ban his forums account to which he responds with You have no right to give out private information about me to anyone. If my game gets banned AGAIN(!!!) then you will be paying for a n ew CD key under the data protection act! lmfao

Not everyone used them to kill Noobs ( or fresh spawns to be more accurate). Helicopters were a favorite target of mine.

UPDATE Server is now running the standard Cherno map again due to the lack of development to the taviana map. All the custom scripts are still active along with base building.

Well the answer is simple and i will even do it step by step for you to get you started as soon as possible. Step One. Download DayZ commander. Step Two Once it is installed, click the INSTALL option at the top. On this tab, make sure you have the latest arma 2 beta and DayZ patches. If so proceed to step 3 Step Three On the Install tab, download the TAVIANA.COM addon/mod (Must be this one and NOT the .EU one). Step Four Go to the following site and apply for the white list http://www.britishsergeantsmess.com/ PLEASE NOTE! Once registered with your IN GAME username, please post your white list app in the white list sticky. To get to it simply go forums/public DayZ forums/ Applications Dayz White list. Now, in order to get whitelisted you will need Two things Your IN GAME name Your GUID. If you are not sure how to get your GUID then that is no problem. SImply log onto any server with Battleye enabled and type the following into the chat. #beclient guid Once this is done, your GUID will be displayed. At this point, i reccomend you take a screenshot of it (its quite long and is case sensitive). Once you have entered both of these things to your white list request its a simple task of waiting for a BSM admin to add you to the list. While you wait though, i STRONGLY advise you to read the rules at the following link http://www.britishse...x.php/sgts-code Also, you could log onto the BSM TS and introduce yourself to the other players that play on the server. The TS details are on the BSM site also. Finally I hope you find a find a good home on this server as i have done and remember UPDATE 22/04/13 Added: - Base Building. This requires an entrenching tool and a building material to access the menu when stationary. Buildable items include: Sandbags, Wire fence, Tank traps, Scrap Metal and Wood. - Active Combat System. You will be in combat nearly constantly (hence the solid combat icon no longer flashing). Moving, changing stance, opening gear inventory being near to zombies/players and all the default things such as shooting will put you into combat. - DO NOT LOG OUT in combat, logs are being kept of all combat loggers, the more hits you have the sooner you'll probably get booted. Wait 30 seconds and log out properly. - Rigging Vehicles with Satchel Charges are now persistent passed server restarts. You can rig a vehicle, log out and it will still explode. At last.
