Thing is no one is demanding that the game be released right now we just want some word on whats happening with the game to let us know that things are still moving forward and progressing towards an eventual release. I mean FFS his last public statement was about being depressed and considering cutting his losses and about high blood pressure and some things not being worth it. Hes giving off a real Dave Chappele type of vibe like hes gonna just crumble under his success and disappear and hes got us all here waiting holding our breath because hes gone dead silent for no damn reason. Its really irresponsible when you have this many people following you to simply ignore them like they aren't there.

I'm gonna be honest I usually play as the bandit I pk whenever pking is possible I find loot and then wreck camps and set traps for noobs thats just the way Ive learned to play the game I wont go and blame society :P I am who I am, or was. Things changed yesterday during a sniping session in Elektro me and my buddy where in our usual spot looking for bambis when we spotted one noob pinning another down in the school house type building with Ak fire. The pinned guy was begging the dude in global to let him be and was explaining that he was unarmed and willing to leave peacefully if the guy would lay off. The noob bandit agreed and when the bambi came running out he shot him anyway but didn't kill him. The bandit started dragging the guy to the roof and I knew what was coming next I've done what was coming next I don't know why this pissed me off it just felt like an unfair deal it lacked a certain type of honor, The irony of the fact that I was shooting helpless bambis that day myself is not lost on me. Any way this pissed me off so when the bandit dragged the bambi all the way to the roof I shot him with my .50 through and through. But i didn't stop there for some reason I was compelled to help the bambi out so me and my mate ran down and I provided cover while my buddy provided blood bandages and morphine for the guy and a spare mp5 and ammo. The dude was super grateful and we helped him get outa town safe and sound. It was the most fun I have ever had on dayz and it was the best feeling by far I have ever had while playing the game. So Im thinking im gonna make it a goal of mine to get my hero skin. Just thought id share this :)

I think eighty percent of the people on this board wouldn't shout boo at a kitten in the real world, but as soon as they are behind a computer they are all sociopaths its all kill kill kill everyone you meet, must be a lonely way to be and I'm not just talking about the game either.

Firenzeys log Day 1 Me and my friend are lucky enough to both awaken very near the Balota airsrip so we agree to meet up in the airstrip itself and go from there, this is the first of many mistakes. On my approach to the strip I see what I beleive to be my friend approaching from the north I quickly approach the air tower reassuring him thats its me, only to have the person im approaching draw a fire-axe and back away up a flight of stairs, This is not my friend it is another potentially hostile survivor I break for the tree line running past the hangars. My friend is in the second hangar and he joins my mad sprint away from the unnamed survivor. We make our way towards cherno checking out the small military encampment just past balota on our way, my partner recieves grevious wounds from a zombie horde when trying to leave the camp so when we hit cherno I insist he stay on the edge of town while i head in to retreive some blood packs and other medical supplies. We hit the church, grocery, and pubs near the western edge of town and come away with an alice and cz pack each as well as an ak for my friend and a Lee einfield for me. My friends awaits my return at the firehouse so I head into town alone towards the hospital. I arrive at the hospital with only a minor incident and begin to scavenge supplies when a shot rings out. My freind cries out, he has been hit his leg is broken and he is unconcious but in his scramble to escape his attacker has lost track of him and is to warry to approach and finish him off. I climb to the top of the hospital peering west where I can barely see the fire houses tower. There I detect movement and my partner confirms that this must be his assailant. I ready my Lee enfield rifle but the shot is a long one and the lee einfield does not posses an optic besides its standard iron sights I watch the tiny barely visible shape moving through the tower my heart is racing though I do not know why. My target or the tiny blur i beleive to be my target seems to halt at the top level of the tower, Looking through a pile of loot or more worrisome perhaps peering out of the window....... at me I take a breath and squeeze the trigger the .303 round leaves the weapon at 840 Metres per second it flies straight and true as does the follow up shot the sound of the lee enfield cracks across cherno like a rolling wave and my blurred target dissapears from sight. Was he hit? Is he dead? Is my freind now safe? questions begin to roll through my head but no sooner are these questions formulated then I realize that my position and the ladder I must use to escape the hospitals roof top is surrounded by the undead. There is another ladder leading to a lower roof I use this ladder and simply drop from the lower level to the ground to my suprise nothing is broken when I land and I escape the horde and the fall unscathed. I rush to the the firehouse as fast as proper caution will allow and find that my friend has awoken and has been watching to firehouse making sure our assailant has not escaped. I patch him up and leave him outside to guard the exit and then I enter the firehouse alone sidearm at the ready for this final confrontation. On the level below the towers highest point i see blood trickling heavily through the floor, MY opponent has been wounded!!! and is bleeding heavily I take the steps quickly my nerves tightened like a bows string and I find... A corpse my Lee einfield rounds had indeed flown true and found there target killing the poor soul near instantly I relieve my fellow survivor of his map, matches, remington binos and other assorted gear as I have releived him of his life. I regroup with my partner and we decide to escape cherno and head inland we make the tree line and my first day as a survivor in Chernarus is at an end, but who knows what tommorow may bring.

Ive read here that zopmbies can be lost by breaking the line of sight but i swear they are like terminators they run as fast as you and just dont stop and Im not sure if im lagging or what but sometimes they seem to teleport short distances. So what I need to know is what measures do I need to take to lose these zeds because people on here make it seem like its childsplay.

i dont care what it is but there needs to be some sort of downside to just slaying everyone you meet at this point everyone on just about every server i play on shoots immediately without question or hesitation even as you scream friendly unarmed freshly spawned at the top of your lungs to them and its just getting ridiculous I want to group and survive but how can I when most "survivors" cant seem to string together two words before shooting. Hello Friendly there not so fin hard is it?

I started about a week ago and my experience has been no better I have now adopted the shoot first ask later mentality because there just doesnt seem to be any other way to survive and keep whats yours. My first day i wandered into elektro and got butcherd for no reason the guy acctually chased me through the streets with a makrov for no damn reason at all. Then i got wiser as i approched places in cherno or elektro I started saying and typing in direct "Friendly near X spot I am newly spawned and am not looking to fight noone ever responded but I was shot at least five diffrent occasions and I just dont understand this mentality I have nothing to offer by being killed its just selfish behavior and it is messing with the enjoyment of the game because i want to meet survivors and make friends but how can I when I feel like every single person i meet is flipin hostile.....
