Too many losers in this mod that feel obliged to pvp when they have 'endgame' level gear. I've been to the airfield a few times but I don't go around killing players once I have good loot. Know why? Because this game is about SURVIVAL. After I have good weapons, I'll go around checking the smaller towns I haven't previously visited and get food and water to last me so I can SURVIVE. If you get bored once you have the best loot either: Don't go straight for good loot and stick it out and explore Or just go back to call of duty or battlefield for your death match, killing people in DayZ doesn't give you a bigger penis however much you may try.

I think the idiots that post these threads don't actually realise that if someone has this 3DP 'advantage' then so do they. If you don't like it, play a server with it off. Incidentally you're the minority so sit back and enjoy the ride.

Cant read anything like that. Can see a post of a player who complains about the type of server people are running mostly (Cause Vet Servers without Names/Crosshairs are the most demanded type of Server) and comments with "Stick your Servers up your arse". And you are jumping on this thread to create more unrest. I can understand the players who were around for a long time, they've got used to it and they're good at it and can handle the veteran servers etc. But I just hate when everyone seems to be coining the term 'carebear' and going off the handles at people who might not be as skilled as them yet. I suppose when the mod first began (I wasn't around THAT early) most of the servers will have been regular so that people could get used to the game, and adapt which the new players now don't really have that much of. However there are still regular servers out there, so OP should just keep looking for those. Anyway, I'm under the impression anyway that there are a lot of veteran servers with 3DP on, and CH on? So if this is the case, doesn't it just make it a regular server anyway, even though it has the Veteran/VET tag in the server name?

Hmm, I'm not too sure. I was at the NWAF yesterday and I was picking off zombies from the control tower to waste my enfield ammo so I could take the AKM, then around 30 of them just swarmed the control tower. After I'd killed them all, none respawned for a good 5 minutes.

I once gave a guy a blood transfusion as he really needed it. Straight after I gave him it he killed me for my czech backpack. I just stick to helping my IRL friends.

I started playing this game around two weeks ago now, I really enjoyed it. I met a few dozen people who were nice, and we went around helping each other with bloodbags etc.. Now, all it has turned into is a 'xxxH4RDC0R3 MLG SCRUBFEST 420xxx' of people just hunting for hunting's sake. I've tried and I've tried so many times to ask people if they need help, or if they could help me and I've just been shot for my troubles. I'm guessing that all of this PvP has stemmed from 12 year-olds getting wind of this game from SeaNanners' youtube channel, or CaptainSparklez's as they are Minecraft players, and this is what all of the '12 year-old Call of Duty kiddies' are moving onto as CoD is slowly dying with its annual rehashes of the same game. So with these 12 year-olds coming onto this game, they are just shooting all of the zombies, running around, killing people because they think this is what the game is about. The game is not about killing, it is about survival. So with all of these players running around with a shoot and kill mentality, it is causing the older, yet nicer players to react in the same way, because they feel like they are just going to get shot for being nice. This is my theory on why I think the game has turned into a PvP fest, as it is not just a coincidence that SeaNanners' video was around this time where he 'advertised' the game should I say.. I'm not really mad, I'm sort of disappointed. I believe hopefully this game will be fixed towards survival orientation in the future as I'm sure Rocket knows what he is doing. I'm a big fan of this game, and I'm playing it daily as I can't get enough, it just seems to be a great shame that I have to be more careful who I trust as they might just be after my beans! All-in-all though, keep up the good work Rocket, this is potentially the best game I've ever played, even if it is in alpha.

Don't get me wrong though, there's some great people on this forum and in the game. But for each one of these, there are 3 other players who just want to kill for the sake, and argue.
