Have some beans for understanding that a fresh spawn can be fun. I agree with everything you said in both posts. I see/hear people exploiting things all the time. I often get criticized for not doing the same. I basically tell them I would rather learn how to play the game than rely on glitches that will be patched out later. Write something up and I will post it on my blog. Or we can work together and I can write it (always crediting you), you can gather the data and/or analyze.

Yeah, times are different now. I shot guns (and still do) since I was about 7 or 8, it's been a big part of my life. Amazing how much does and doesn't carry over to video games.

The main one is graphics card. Make sure graphics, sound card, and your motherboard is up to date

Is there not a log showing what scripts have been run?

Suggestions have been made about rubbing zombie gore on yourself to mask sent, but honestly I think it's beyond the scope of this game.

This works for me: Place tent. Save tent. DO NOT PUT ANYTHING IN TENT Wait for server restart. Place items in tent. Save tent. Just so you know tents have approximately a 99.9% chance of eating your gear sooner or later.

It's very possible to die from a bug for no reason. Just saying the words barbed wire makes me think that's what happened. Death comes often, swiftly and violent in this game. It's all part of the fun.

Basically you named a lot of objects that could be anywhere on the map. There are over a million objects on the map, just naming a few is not going to help. 2 things. Either go to a town and read the sign, try and find it on a out of game map. Otherwise you have to log off, and when you log back in it says the name of the area you are in in the bottom right. It's a huge map and there are thousands of servers. You are a needle in a stack of other needles right now.

Legend has it that if you get on top of the fuel tanks at the station it is easier to fill. I wouldn't know cause that sounds like a bad idea to me.
