Going to investigate this 100%. Just understand, unfortunately if I don't have any hard evidence in my logs of him, or lead poisoning, who you said was the "ring leader" then I cannot ban. I have to catch evidence on recording, or in the logs to authorize a ban on that player. The last thing I want is the server to fall victim to blacklisting due to some idiot nerd-raging because he was banned, and the whole time he just had a battleye bypass that was just good enough to prevent any kind of detection of illegal scripts in his share of the log file. And I've heard of that happening. Believe me, the last thing I want is for any player on my server to be experiencing this kind of bullshit, especially because it sounds like this guy is following you around and doing this repeatedly. I banned a guy today actually who spawned in a helicopter in front of my team-mates eyes, and then without knowing who he was, called him by name and said "Here you go, take the keys to your new chopper." How would he know his name without name-tags? Classic slip-up. LIke, yeah.. thanks for the chopper... but illegitimate is illegitimate and it sat outside electro broken for hours tonight because when my friend got in, the guy blew it up. Then I got the ban in. Like I said, I'll investigate both players as much as I can, just know that DayZ and it's admins at current do not grant server admins much leeway in terms of what we can do.

One more thing I'd like to clarify, Karou is not with us and has never been. I have never seen or thought that Jason, along with Durpee were anything but clean, and you have no worries. I've had to apologize to players for taking the server down during a hacker attack without any notice since it was pretty immediate, and when I apologized to players in global for any possible lost items, Jason was one of the ones who assured me it's was fine and thanked me for a heads up. I've seen you guys playing quite a lot, and my goal and mission is to make this server as stable as possible, and a good home to others. If you guys have camps here, please stay and I'll do whatever i can to keep this server as safe as possible, because I'm absolutely against any sort of hacking as it's pointless and ruins the game for many people, myself included many times. I have not died in a legitimate firefight since this server was started a couple of weeks ago. I hope that says something to you. As of right now, the server is down because the server/machine itself is not responding. I've been in contact with Vilayer and I'm going to do whatever I can to get this resolved timely as we would like to be playing ourselves. Whether it's some maintenance, or a complete transfer to a different box in a different location, because we have had a few server crashes, and erroneous restarts, and this is the second time our server has been down for multiple hours now. It was originally supposed to be a NYC based server, but as of right now it's based out of Jacksonville FL.

I'm the admin of US 1313, and I will answer all questions in PMs. I will say to my knowledge Karou or whatever his name is has not run any unknown scripts, but this lead poisoning person I do not know much of. I don't think I've seen much of him.. I will look into this for sure. The camp you found north of the NEAF was indeed my groups, and has since been moved since that raid. No one was hacking, as you saw since your buddy was able to kill all 3 of us. It's called voice communication and having people in the area who were on teamspeak that could login. We're not new to this game. As far as the item duping, there is NO duping going on that's happening intentionally. I will explain for two reasons. One: When you have 10 to 15 players in your squad playing together every day all using one camp. you're going to see a massive return on items. Also, there is no way for us NOT to dupe all the time. If you do not know, there is a massive bug with how the hive is saving things. For example, place a tent, and put your weapon in the tent. Save the tent. Then take your weapon out a couple hours later. At the server restart, you will have that weapon still in your hand, and another one in the tent since it's not saving properly(I hate to tell people how to do this but this is well known now so..) If the server ever goes down, and does not return within 5 minutes, it was NOT a restart as I have never taken this server down intentionally for multiple hours. I reset the server once every 6 to 8 hours for stability purposes. I've also shut down the server during a hacker attack(So we could take care of them, and spare the rest of the people playing from needless deaths due to some no life kids) but it was promptly restored within 5 minutes give or take. One more thing: The green ural like vehicle, is called a v3s, and it's a legitimate vehicle. Look it up please. As far as I know, that is not our vehicle. And vehicles are not saving properly either. If you take a vehicle, and DO NOT save it, it will be back in it's original saved location, which was our camp, which is why the vehicles always returned there. I'm sure others will relate to this if they see this thread. Durpee: That amount of zombie kills does nothing to indicate a hacker. I've had characters alive for only 12 hours or so with 500+ zombie kills. If there's no one on the server, and you're bored...you end up shooting plenty of them. Anything further, please take to PMs with me. I'd be happy to describe and explain that exact situation you're referring to(the firefight at the camp), and I'd even do it on teamspeak with you. Just to further assure you there is no one in my group doing anything illegitimate, and if I find out they are, they will be removed.

Could of just been running simple scripts(Aren't using a VIP hack and got lucky) instead of a fancy hook with functions like god-mode, esp, weather, infinite ammo, and other various bullshit like the thunderdome teleport. Either way, they hacked them in or they just all got lucky and picked up 3 from killing the same hacker 3 times, or 3 different ones who had it...which seems really unlikely.. What seems likely is..It was a clan, and they killed a hacker, picked up the gun and duped it a couple times over in a tent via a couple server restarts. Not hard to believe really with the amount of duping going on. In fact, that would be my guess more than likely. So that, or one of them spawned shit in for the rest. Lowers the threat of detection. Either way, stupid. I'd love to rock a G36C SD in game. One of my favorite guns, especially with a holo type sight on it. I'd kill in-game babies for it, but I sure as fuck aint gonna hack it in or use one if I find one. This is one of the guns I wish rocket would add in and make INCREDIBLY rare. Along with a standard non supressed version.

Exactly. Nothing is going to be any different than when bandit skins were in the game. It may lessen it 5% if that, but overall in the grand scheme of things there will be just as much KoS mentality as before. Trust me when I say this. I was around pre-humanity. I'm around now. I can hear exactly where shots come from, and I can usually pin point the person within a few meters of where they stood when they fired. It's all in your sound system dude. I can also hear zombies around me and know where they are at all times.

Player: Berard Hack: Teleport & Artillery Scripts or possibly he just server hopped to our camp location and used an artillery script. Just keep a look out for him. I took care of him on our server, but beyond that I'm sure he's on the lose being a fucking no life neck beard.

You realize that robbing someone else's camp is pretty much bandit activity right, and you had zero way of knowing if they were truly "Shoot on sight" bandits like you probably think they were. They are not hard to get what so ever. It's keeping them that is hard. I have a group of 10 people and we have 3 or 4 vehicles. Anyone saying "Save some for the rest of us" is just pissed because they haven't grasped the concept of going out and looking for OTHER PEOPLES cars. Just because you don't find one in it's spawn location doesn't mean you can't get on. I've found 5 vehicles in a day of playing. On the same server.

Honestly, the respawn button needs to be reinstated until hacks like this are blocked all together, which may be an eternity. Having people be forced to not play again until something gets fixed is a bit much. There's literally nothing you can do except "graze" all the way to cherno, and then start yelling in direct chat for someone to kill you. If you get lucky and find someone. Which isn't tooo hard, but still. The option to suicide should be there. All you need is a confirmation box. "Are you sure you want to commit suicide?" when you press respawn. Problem fixed. Crisis averted.

You are, because I never run with AA on while playing this game since it's a FPS hog. The only thing that has cured it is a lucky "flush" command. Sometimes I'll enter the command once, and it'll go away completely until I leave the area. Sometimes I'll sit there typing it 10+ times and it'll just change/get worse/ or get better for about 50 meters until it's back all together. This bug has pretty much turned NWAF into no-mans land, more so than it already was. It's almost impossible to go on a loot run of the airfield without walking into zombies, or being picked off by someone who found a lucky angle where he can see you, but you can't see anything around you unless you stare at your feet while moving. I hope 1.7.2.5 comes out today(Yesterday was target date) and fixes this issue completely, because it's definitely game-breaking right now. The most sought after military loot location in the game, and the second one(stary) are almost impossible to navigate in.

It's not just inventory. It's the hive itself. It's just plainly not saving things properly. Thats why we have this massive amount of duping, inventory disappearing if you disconnect too quickly after obtaining it, vehicles reappearing fully repaired. Driving a vehicle, hitting something and breaking it, only to hop out and back in and it's fully repaired again. Things like that. It has to be a problem with the hive itself.

AS50 / M107

Because people think they can't be killed legit anymore and they *must* of been killed by a hacker instead. The amount of hackers ruining this game right now for most people has people so on edge. If you've been killed by hacks 20 times, you'll probably start thinking every time you die it was a result of hacks lol. I feel bad for some people. You were banned for using a legit item, that ander and vipeax themselves have said are completely legit, although extremely rare.

It's a close tie between AS50 and M107. The AS50 I prefer because it's quieter and has less recoil when fired, but the M107 just has that super unique sound when fired that just screams "Oh shit". It SOUNDS like a big gun. Where as the AS50 is just a simple "tink" in comparison. Both are equally deadly, and equally accurate. Although I find the M107 is a bit more accurate in the zeroing department at ranges of 1000+ meters but shots at that range do not happen often enough to say one is better than the other really. Just my experience on the shooting range mission and extensive testing on moving and stationary targets at 1000 meters or more. Assault rifles? M4A3 CCO/M4A1 CCO SD. Definite tie there. The L85A2 is an obvious choice due to the thermal but beyond it's spotting capability, I'm not a fan of using it to actually engage people. Although I've gotten kills with it many times, it's just not that accurate at longer ranges, and no I'm not using sub-sonic ammunition through it either. Unless I'm only worried about aggroing maybe one zombie in a town as opposed to 10+.

I run bandicam every single time I login to DayZ, and I have the overlay(fps) showing as well if that makes any difference. Guess what? I'm not banned, nor have I ever been kicked by battleye once. Honestly I don't believe this story one bit. It's hard-coded in most peoples minds to say "I didn't do it" when first confronted with something they did do. Getting surprised usually makes that first reaction a lie. Keyword: Most people. There are some honest people left in the world. At least I'm thankful the hackers I've caught and banned on my server for running teleport and placeatme(vehicle) scripts haven't tried to get an appeal, because I'd show them the log with there name and guid next to it in a nice little screen shot for them. Although they'd probably just say I photoshopped it.
