  1. I did not know you could install dayz from steam lol, do you mean in the dayz commander settings to " replace original arma2oa files with beta so steam works? 1 last tip too while using dayz commander if you would like a little bit better frame rate, go into settings and click " Close DayZ Commander (after joining a server " .
  2. Also try re installing arma 2 version and the version of the map your trying to play, make sure to have DayZ itself in DayZ Commander updated to latest version, also one of your files could have gotten corrupted while installing said version of the map or arma.
  3. ^ Can try a fresh re-install and make sure to run arma 2 then arma 2 oa through steam first before you install or try playing dayz, also you could try going into your library on steam right click Arma 2 OA - hit properties - the hit local files - then hit verify integrity of game cache.
  4. Is it when you join every server? And are you using dayz commander? And if so are the servers you click on highlighted white or grey? And if using dayz commander try clicking on hide wrong arma 2 version and hide wrong mod version also try running arma 2 and arma 2 oa first in steam after installation, then go on dayz, last thing possibly would be to if you can join a server make sure your battleye is updated to latest version before trying to hit ok or accept to actually join said server, also you could try going into your steam and right clicking properties on Arma 2 OA - then hit local files - then verify integrity of game cache. I hope at least one of these things helped.
  5. Never had the problem honestly I re-format my comp every few weeks and I keep my hdd clean all drivers up to date, + i use Nvidia ftw ;) But I hope at least a Re-format will help you out, i don't know anything about ATI or their drivers but if they are able to get beta drivers should def look into downloading and installing it, also if your graphics card while installing the drivers if it ask to do a custom installation hit clean install, kinda like how the nvida layout if it allows you to. Like I said though, I hope at least a fresh re-format will help.
  6. def would not be able to do 5 in any larger chopper, At least i don't think ;)
  7. LMAO, these guys need to learn how to shoot or at least learn how to play bandit right, myself I play bandit all day every day and honestly it does not take that many shots at all, they need to learn how to stalk and wait for their prey to stop moving to take a shot instead of run up on them like its cod, these guys are wasting ammo trying to spray, just saying. ;)
  8. also make sure your Graphics drivers are up to date. ;)
  9. I would say all else fails do a Re-Format, def should fix that problem.
  10. or sometimes you know there the admin or in the clan and you still gotta kill'em anyways ;) But yes to me it sounds like admin abuse, just my thoughts on the subject.
  11. Sounds like admin abuse, honestly I see this and get this alot from killing the admins on accident not knowing there the admins then they get extreamly butt hurt. :((
  12. do you happen to have like peerblock on or some sort of other program that hides you? could be interfearing, has happened to me before tried to search for servers and ended up forgetting my peerblock was on.
  13. 100% complete fix would be uninstalling all arma 2, & arma 2 oa & battleye uninstaller, also delete the dotjosh folder inside your programs (x86) & delete your arma 2 & arma 2 oa folders in your My Documents once everything is super cleaned & deleted from your comp involving this mod\game, then go ahead & do a complete re install, my 2 cents just incase the verifying cache does not work for ya, also make sure your battleye is 100% updated before you actually hit ok in the lobby to load into the game, so sit in the lobby for a couple minutes until it says in RED that your updated. Also you would need to re install dayz commander lol sorry i left that out :/
  14. in steam go Library - right click Arma 2 OA - then click properties - Local Files - then hit Verify Integrity Of Game Cache
  15. you can also try in steam to hit right click on arma 2 oa go to properties - Local Files - Verify Integrity Of Game Cache & any missing files will be found and re-aquired
  16. and if you get a i7 def make sure its unlocked and invest into liquid cooling.
  17. get an i7 & atleast a Nvidia GTX 560 or up and you will be running any game on ultra, even tho i have my graphics for dayz all on low or disabled, except for textures thats on very high, personal preferances, even tho i can run the game on very high.
  18. is your battleye updated before you hit enter in the lobby? if not make sure its updated.

    Help!

if your using dayz commander check and make sure that your Arma2 - Arma2 OA - DayZ directorys are set to where the actual files are in your settings, example #1 C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Arma 2 if they are set to the right location then i would just try deleting all arma 2 and arma 2 oa files in your computer besides uninstalling also delete dayz commander if you want and make sure to delete the files it leave in your computer once you do uninstall it - then try a reinstall of all.
  21. I have never heard of this dilema, hardware issues maybe?
