i was getting this too little brother was running faster than me even while he was crouched and i was sprinting LOL, until i tweaked my visual settings to my monitor and also did several re-installs fresh everything, then i bought x2 4GB DDR3 Ram sticks and now i run this bitch just fine, wouldnt hurt if i had a better processor tho;) make sure your buddy has a good CPU and RAM and make sure he has a decent GPU.

gotta do complete re-install.

really easy to find a weapon tho right after respawn, very true tho going into town you have to worry about people and not zombies. And if your getting chased by zombies just run into a big building and the zombies will slow down enough for you to run threw out to the other side and get away.

crazy, you def should be able to play this no problem! umm try uninstalling everything and try to reinstall, delete even the sixlauncher then rerun installer then updater, other than that i donno :\ also try not haveing steam.exe running and close six launcher after your in the sever like smithy had said.

im running arma 2 dayz on a Gateway fx laptop intel® Core2 Duo CPU 2.26GHz 2.27GHz Installed memory 4.00GB (2.99 GB Usable) windows alienware (64-bit) - and i am getting huge FPS like lagg spikes like my guy is running like a stick figure almost i go from 60fps to 10- it will run the 60 the go to the 10- then back to the 60 then back to the 10- every like 5 minutes or so, anybody have any ideas how to fix this it would be greatly appreciated!

damn ill have to keep a look out when im playing for that guy because fuck getting killed by a hacker:)

yea earlier some hacker spawned 2 helio's flew them into cherno and blew up a hospital i know killing someone lol they were pissed, then the second one he flew into cherno on a kamakazi mission and blew it up then sounded like 8 frags went off a minute after they crashed? I just scrolled up more lol, you react quick to the hackers and that is awesome. TY for the server man!

Tv and can play this perfect, i would say get x2 4gb sticks of ram, also i donno about your cpu but def need a good one to run this because it eats and thrives off of cpu and ram. my lil brother has a worse comp than me by like .5 on the index rating and he is able to play the game perfect based on the server, server makes a huge difference aswell. He also runs it threw six launcher as i do and he actually puts his Arma2.exe process priority to high.

try uninstalling arma 2 and arma 2 OA uninstall six launcher then reinstall and let six launcher and six updater do there thing, first once you get arma 2 and arma 2 OA installed run the games then run six launcher install then run six updater and install and update your mods, i have installed this on multiple machines different specs each time and i have gotten it to work, just some quick thoughts i had when reading this.

seems like they probably took out ghillie and camo, i have not been able to find either anywhere since 1.7.2.3 was released.

def some bs, iv been killed a couple of times from people d/c'ing and reconnecting, one time i was in the firehouse 1st floor by the stairs and was getting chased by a guy and he didnt come in the building, well minutes later he logged on right behind me, he would have killed me if he didn't push my guy forward a little bit LOL, merked out him then his buddy, his buddy tried it, back to back combat logging, Even people when you shoot them and right before it says there dead they hit d/c. Best thing about this if you can figure out were they are gonna spawn again near you, you can get the satisfaction of a revenge kill so they spawn dead ;)

I would like to see more urban area's more city's different buildings etc maybe an underground train transit system tunnels leading to different train stops. But keep all the wilderness and rural area's aswell!

& to be honest i havent found camos or ghillies in the past couple of days so i donno, i'd say you find one put it in your backpack and keep it until they fix it hopefully!

yea Ghille suits and camo's will make you lose all of your weapons and inventory except for your backpack and the contents inside it, and one time i put on the ghillie and it made it sound like i was running in the ocean LOL i was on a building ;)

shit fixed mine right after buying and installing ;)
