does this really matter? chernarus is a fictional country with no backstory(i dont count things thats happend in arma2 as a backstory). so at this point devs are free to add any guns(no unrealistic bullshit ofc).

i`d picked a DMR and m14 or something full auto. as for as-50, i`d left it in some tall grass, so no douche would use it.

all weapons, except, DE would be just alternative versions of current weapons in game, just with a bit different recoil. a DE is a good addition, because its a hunting pistol, so it should be common

i`ve voted yes, just for having another weapon that would utilize stanag-sd mags

as-50/m107 is a gay weapon and should be removed. There's no point using any other weapon really... as for the thread: another sniper with ass-50 crying about how he was spotted with LA85

since i didnt get any comments from dayz staff on this thread(which makes me a sad panda, perhaps i picked wrong section). i`m throwing this out. Since client`s PC makes a lot of mandatory calculations, based on local files, that dont checked by server before connection, they can by modified to give user an advantage(imagine makarov with damage of as50). So to prevent this add a file consistency check before connecting to the serer, at least for the file that contains mandatory information(weapon damage etc). This probably won be done in this engine, but please, add this to standalone game.

after some pvp action, i can say that this also applies to players: i killed a guy with enfield with one shot in the chest. he wasnt low on blood, because i found a cooked meat in his pack. on the other hand this also applies to damage that you take: on shot from enfield dropped me from 11k blood to 800+bleeding+unconsciousness. or that guy also was running 1.60 :)

the gun has very low damage, even with good aim its damn hard to kill someone. you always can check my sig, if u no like low damage weapons.

i gues OP havent played Dead Space 2 or Dead Island multiplayer, if he suggests shit like this... for those ho dont get it: this game has forced voice activation VoiP, and sometime its just awful. people dont even know harass each other. the other reason why i`m against it, its because this shit is taken from consoles, that just cant handle PTT voice chat.

hey OP, how you answer to that: DayZ doesnt have weight system, meaning AMR user doesnt suffer carrying capacity penalty nor handling issues, that comes with its weight irl. making them superior then other long range weapon.

tested 1.60+ 95777, 1911 kills zeds in one hit. what is your version of arma, witout beta patch? i suppose its 1,62.
