lol, it is russia, go there, go our of the big cities like moscow and see what it looks like, this game still looks better than reality... :)

i started playing 3 days ago, so by no means i am a veteran, but after 5-10 deaths i learned this: 1 - barns/farms are you best bets, usually have food/drinks and at least one weapon. 2 - cities = BAD! do not go to the cities close to coast, they are full of other scared survivors that will shoot on sight. 3 - learn to be stealth, my last life (10hours so far, still alive) i only used my gun 1 time! oh and once again, GET AWAY FROM THE COAST, people are there to kill other people! Also, if you see a city/town, always think where would a sniper be, try to think that there is always someone guarding this city and try to avoid main roads, look for back doors to shops and barns! if you aggro zombies look for the building with 2 entrances, run through and run for the hills/forest, do not shoot in the city, you will only attract more attention. just my 2 cents

+1, it eats primary and pistols as well, and when you move a pistol, it moves all the ammo, it is a problem! as if you dont have enough space in your back pack, all ammo disappears as well! lost a revolver and m1911 like that...

i don't think they are easy, they break you leg or knock you know, and i think the chances are pretty good for that, i think they can make them more dangerous, but only in veteran or expert difficulties, so we (new people) don't die RIGHT AWAY! :)

It seems to pickup my computer name, but how do i change it in game?

so where can i find weapons? i found car parts, blood packs, bandages, ammo and everything you can think of, but no weapons

2 questions really, 1 - where is my starting pistol, tried 2 games now, i have no weapons at the start, and 2 - what is the difference in difficulties (veteran, regular and recruit) i assume that is why i have no weapon, also, anyone wants to coop? oh oh and 3 - how do i chat across all map, i see people talking but i can only chat local
