I'll trade a ghillie for the mk48 + ammo...what server?

After it reacquires the files for each game, launch each of them so it can complete the first time setup. I also reinstalled the beta patch (I used 95248) after I did the verification process and I can join any server I want now.

Isn't it possible that other players have them hidden at their camps? I've always heard that each server only spawns a certain number of each vehicle type so if everyone finds them and tucks them away somewhere then that means no more vehicles at their original spawn points. I'm not saying this is a sure thing, just a thought. I know the group I play with never seems to find a vehicle at an actual spawn point, its always way out in the wilderness with lots of loot stored in it.

Whenever you're on the OA main menu it should show you which beta version you have in the bottom right corner of the screen

I had this happen to me as well. If you're using steam then you need to go into the properties of arma II and OA and verify the integrity of game cache. After it verifies run each game once to do the first time setup then it should work fine I also reinstalled the newest beta patch just to be safe, not sure if thats required to fix it or not

I had the exact same problem. Go into your steam library and right click arma II, click properties and goto the local files tab. Click on verify integrity of game cache and it should find 1 or 2 files that it will need to download (it will DL them automatically). Afterwards do the same thing for arma II OA. After each has downloaded the needed files run them on their own to complete the first time setup, after that you should be able to go back to playing DayZ as you did before. Almost forgot, I also reinstalled the newest beta patch after I did this process just to be safe

First off, I've got Combined Ops from steam and I used the worrom tool to install dayz with zero problems and also installed the beta patch. I launch the game by clicking the "launch beta" button on the worrom updater. Everything comes up normally but once I get to the server list everything is very laggy and hard to navigate. After choosing a server and joining I see everything load up seemingly fine but when I get into the world I experience very heavy lag/delay when I try to walk around. After about 30 seconds I get a message say that I've been kicked off the server and I'm returned to the server list. Obviously this seems like a problem with my computer not being able to run the game but I've played several recent MMOs and I've never had any problem...I can even run them on high graphic settings in most cases. I was chatting with a friend who was also playing in one of the servers I tried to join and he told me that it said "Signature Check Failed" next to my user name, I wasn't sure if that could be a clue to what's wrong or not. Also, his game was running smoothly so that rules out any server issues. Sorry for the long read, any help would be greatly appreciated! Update: I ran the can you run it tool to check my computer specs and it says my processor needs to be at least 2.5 GHz but I've only got a 2.2...everything else is fine

Having Trouble joining a server [PLEASE LOOK]
adam3143 replied to rocky2k12's topic in DayZ Mod Troubleshooting
I was having a problem similar to this and I copied the addons folder in the arma 2 file and pasted it into the arma OA folder and it solved everything. Whenever I tried to join a server it would start to work and then give me an error saying I couldn't play due to expansion parts not being present or something along those lines. Might not do any good but hopefully it helps you
