I don't recall whether mogilevka has the large tanks near the pumps like rocket mentioned or not. -
That many bolts would make things too easy I think. 10 would probably be the most bolts I'd allow for a 3 slot.

If you attempt to place a weapon into a backpack without sufficient slots it'll disappear. When you transfer the gun to the backpack it'll also try to transfer all of it's associated ammo to the bag, any ammo over the slots disappears. Examples: You've got your winchester and 8 batches of ammo. You're using a completely empty alice pack at 20 slots. Your winchester (10 slots) and 8 batches of ammo (8 total) will fit in nicely. If you have your cz 550 and 5 mags of ammo in your alice pack (15 slots total) and attempt to place a winchester in the bag, you'll lose your winchester and probably all of your ammo. You have 4 bits of food, 2 bandages and 3 sodas in your alice pack (9 slots) and you put your winchester and 8 batches of ammo, you'll end up with your winchester and 1 batch of ammo in your bag.

Well, even without the empty mag idea, I'd still like to see ammo boxes that aren't mag specific.

This would actually tie in nicely with what we're talking about in the Combine clips thread in here. Basically solo bolts should remain as they are, they take up a full slot. However, players could find and hold onto clips that let them combine 3-5 bolts into a single slot with the clip.

Yes, pulling out ammo from mags you don't want, or even sharing out your ammo types to others you're playing with, was one thing I was looking forward to. If that was the case, the ammo box objects could be an additional loot item, and varied sized boxes could be more efficient. A crappy 9mm box might hold only 40 rounds while another holds 100. You could also go into using multiple slots, so a 100 round 1 slot box would be more rare than a 100 round 2 slot box.

Or have a box of rounds that takes up a single slot and re-fill mags from that. The issue with that sort of thing is that you'd have to re-add a new magazine when its been emptied instead of clearing the inventory slot as it happens now. That means players would have more inventory management to clear out empty mags that they don't want. I'd personally like to keep empty mags and refill them, but I have a feeling most players wouldn't. I'd actually love to see this as a hardcore mode type server option where server owners could enable or disable this system across the server. Another option might be to have a user setting that default drops empty mags that can be enabled/disabled to cover that extra inventory management.

Yes, if its causing issues, scrap it. There's probably a better method to achieve the pk indicator status.

Does the destruction of a vehicle trigger a timer for when it re-appears at it's starting location? How do vehicle counts and spawns/respawns work?

My 2 cents, I prefer the options off servers, I'll keep playing on them as long as they're available. I don't begrudge people who like 3rd person and the other aids, but I don't want them and I don't want to play against other players using them. My only two gripes are the buggy direct comms which work sometimes and other times not. When they do work they're either way too quiet or you can hear somebody talking softly the next hill over. (Yes, we did have a sniper on a hill on watch that could hear us down in town on direct) Other times you're right next to them and it's barely audible even with max mic and just about screaming. Second gripe is lack of visual differentiation that can help for identifying players. These are things that will probably be worked out during development, but they're also the two things that almost make me want to play on a server where I can point my crosshair at a bush and see a name pop up. -
Was sitting on a somewhat gentle slope when my atv decided to flip onto it's side and kick me off. From what I was told I should have a flip action available, though I didn't see it. Does anybody know a method or place or something to flip this thing back up?

rocket, we've been trying to use empty can at various gas stations in towns at pumps, tanks etc. The small propane tanks, the larger long tanks, so far we've yet to get a context menu option that lets us fill the cans. Any further info on where/how on the tanks to get it to pop up? -

Our vehicle disappeared again when server crashed with 6 of us in it. Back traced the vehicle a ways from the route we took, nadda. Went to its spawn point, nadda.

Is your frustration with the pure random nature of getting knocked down, or with the knockdown itself? If its the former are you suggesting something less random and more sequential in phases before you're fully knocked down and immobile?

Why shouldn't new players be able to have some fun? You seem to be suggesting not putting any vehicles near the coastline at all.

Wasn't groups the main reason for the spawning issues? Since we can see the green chat when somebody types I assumed we were all dumped into a new group together as people joined.

Why is night so bright now?

I do think the environment is a bit whacked though. Earlier tonight moon was a sliver, still very bright, logged in now and its full. That being said, some visibility due to moon is good, but I'm showing almost complete cloud cover and its still way too bright. Needs work still is all. -
Laser guided, can't recall what the exact description was. They're gone now with the reset.
