Just remember there's 3 item types. Packs Weapons/Tools All the rest I've not counted out total slots across the vehicles, but pack limit seems to be 2 on most of the civvy cars. Weapons/Tools consist of any weapons, but also include binocs or things that fit down in the bottom slots like maps and compasses. All the rest like car parts, ammo, meds, tin cans and such fit in the general slots. So adding a weapon or pack won't reduce the amount of ammo you can have stored. For reference a tent can hold 5 packs, 10 weapons/tools and 75 general slots.

Change loot quality after server population

So when I'm playing on my server at 5am and there's 8 other people online I should be forced to go to a server without my tents or vehicles just so I get something besides tin cans? That's a stupid idea. -
Certainly is a decent quick fix for the leave 1 bullet in a mag and abort bug. Though I'd rather see a combine mags type feature where you come back with as many shots as you started, instead of logging with 10 slugs and coming back in with 0.

Turn Off Passive Humanity Increase

Much too easy to farm humanity, the passive increase is way too much/fast. You could at least drop it down to 150 every 15 minutes which puts it at pretty much a free murder per night for normal players. And even that might be too fast. Its not a radical bump, so it'd be an easy start to see how it impacts humanity ratings across the board. For those just into banditry blood packs are an easy way to get back out, it would take a lot for those going deep into bandit to get back using blood packs though. Another possibility would be to have 2 bandit skins to differentiate between deep bandit and barely into it, possibly self defense, bandit. The same double skin could work for high humanity as well. A possibility there would be to force all average non-bandits to the white shirt texture, and after a certain humanity switch them to the black shirt texture. That might even be enough of an incentive for some to go into higher humanity. -
For about the last 4 hours, character saves haven't been working for myself and some others on a couple of the US servers. Is this a widespread issue?

I, and others I play with, have run into this as well. You can go for hours without damage and every time you need to relog you come back in and wait 3 minutes. Gets quite annoying. -
1.5.5 Character saves not working

Did find a few servers that seemed to be working fine. I contacted the admins of US4 and US5 to get them restarted, hopefully that gets it up and running again. -
Just lost my akm, alice pack and a couple tents due to something messing up with save states on US5. It's been showing that its been saving, but on reconnecting it dropped me back about 2 hours prior gear and position wise.

Were all vehicles deleted again, or are they just disappearing/super rare? Been checking every nook and cranny since yesterday when the uaz disappeared and haven't seen another one throughout most of the towns.

Did the tent owner live/die between those tests?

Just put an AKS Kobra along with a pack and some other stuff, in a tent and relogged. Came back a minute later, everything but the weapon was in the tent, including it's ammo. With time and location being what they were there's about a 0 chance that somebody came along and only took the weapon and no other loot in that tent. So it seems like tents aren't 100% just yet.

I recall reading the 107 was taken out and would be a mission reward in the future. Though you can still find mags for it.

Rocket mentioned in the announcement thread that vehicles are very fucked right now. I think we can expect another full reset on the vehicles within the next patch or two.

New tents placed after 1.5.5, servers haven't gone down yet to see if it keeps or not, we'll be watching. I'm concerned about loot and zombie spawning. Since the patch there's been times when absolutely nothing will show up in a region. No zombies to shoot, no loot to grab. At one point it became an issue of people coming close to starvation and those cans of beans starting to look murder worthy as no animals or other sources of food were available.

What's the new setup for loot? Gone through all of elektro and not a single tin can. Only saw 1 czech vest pack in the market. Hospital did have the med supplies though. Plenty of other players in the area for a bit that should have triggered spawns.

As mentioned in this thread about vehicle problems on FR1, when servers go down, vehicles don't always return. Yesterday's crash of US4 and US5 for a few hours ended up with a lot of missing vehicles on restart. In the past, a second server restart generally has the vehicles showing up again in their same positions, so far with the crash that hasn't been the case. Who all has experienced this? Is this a widespread issue or specific to certain servers?

Is that issue tied in with vehicles not showing up after a crash? Whole motor pool disappeared after some US servers came back up after crashing hard yesterday. -
Lots of toolkits around. They're definitely not rare.

Long grey ones at fuel stations don't do anything, neither do the white propane tanks. Go for the large rusty ones around barns and other buildings. -

Generators, nice. Though to clarify the tank types found at gas stations don't have the context to fill. You need to find big fat rusty ones elsewhere. -

We ended up finding a tank that let us fill the jerry cans. Didn't find them at gas stations, but the mechanic itself works. -
1.5.3 Vehicle contents gone after server restart

After driving around a uaz for a couple hours tonight, it was pretty well stocked, including a gps. Plenty of save states of hopping out etc. There were no slots remaining on the vehicle, put in a bandage and it gets destroyed due to no space. After server crash/restart earlier tonight on US3 all of the contents of the vehicle, except the FAL magazines and 2 grenades, that were in it to begin with, had disappeared. Thinking that it was all there, but invisible, did some testing and the vehicle was basically empty again, filled it up with a ton more junk afterwards. So, my conclusion is that it lost all of the items in the vehicle that players added.
