I've been playing this mod since around 1.5? and i've never had any problems with battleye up untill now. I recently performed a HDD format therefore removing everything related to arma, battleye etc. Before I began the format I backed up all steam games, all files in the steam folder and documents, basically everything related to arma2 and combined operations. I thought that simply moving all the files back into the slots they were in before I performed the format would be fine and work like a charm (I had actually downloaded OA on a different computer and moved it on the HDD in the beginning). After moving everything back into the original places I loaded up Arma expecting to be back on in no time at all but this was not the case, since the i've started to play again I haven't been able to stay online for longer than 30 seconds due to Battleye client issues and yes i've re-installed, downloaded manually and every other variation that could possibly help to fix battleye. So I ask, does anyone have any idea what is wrong? And before anyone suggests it, I basically cannot re-download the entire game due to have a 1.3GB download limit per day (Sky broadband sucks). I'd appreciate any feedback or suggestions. Thanks, Camay.

If you'd even bothered looking through other threads or using the search bar, you'd notice that the latest patch isn't on SixUpdater yet and everyone is having problems with logging in on some servers.

You're better off building one yourself and recycling any usable parts from your existing computer. But yeah, CPU and a decent graphics card are the primary components for a decent pc.

Any highly populated should have at least 2 people sniping at the northern firestation.

This is nothing to do with your player, it's your intenernet connection being slow or the server you're connecting to being slow.

I have mine on the latest patch and have no problems, the latest patch made some minor changes to weapons i think. I think Lingor requires the latest version. Download from http://arma2.com/beta-patch.php

That'll because it's already full, an empty jerrycan is actually called a empty jerrycan. Lots of people have this problem.

Look in the woods on the edges of the map, people usually set up camps there and hide vehicles. Pobeda Dam is a favourite for camps.

You logged off whilst being attacked or having recently been shocked. Get someone to use a epi-pen on you, that stops it for me.

You should be fine with that, i'm running an Intel Pentium 2.4GHz for the time being and i play fairly smoothly.

Lingor Island, it isn't supported by Rocket and doesn't connect to the same hive as DayZ. It's alright though, the only major difference that I liked was that you can go in every building.

It's not very new, but it is irritating. Also I think BattleEye just updated to improve how it prevents scripting.

I have a 6870 and mine runs 30 fps on high everywhere, it'll probably be either your CPU, internet connection or your HDD.

L85 is pretty awesome, you can use the thermal sight for checking large areas at night plus you can use stanag magazines which are fairly easy to come by.

It does seem like it is your GPUs, personally i'd purchase a 7970 (or even 2 if you have the money) but that's just because i'm a HD fanboy. Although the lag that you're experiencing could be server lag due to your internet.
