  1. I have a few suggestions Ive been thinking of some may or may not of been mentioned before. Add female zombies. Add kid zombies that are very eery. Focus on making them the freaky ones. Make zombies drop things that people would actually have on them......For instance Men and Women zombies should have a great chance to drop a Watch or painkillers by like 50% Also a 25% chance or so to drop matches or a knife and a slim 1% 5% or 10% chance or so to drop a Makarov or Revolver with 1 magazine of ammo (concealed carry is kinda commonish.) Kid zombies I can see having a can of soda or a bag of potato chips I can also see maybe a compass being rare on a kid. Doing this will add variety of zombies we are killing and also adding in more realism and desire to kill zombies. I would also really like to see a stamina bar so we cannot run for miles and miles and miles. In my opinion it would make vehicles more desirable for travel and not just storage. Also adding a stamina system to the bicycle would be nice. So it will not make the bike the GO TO way to travel. Also to compensate make the zombies have jogging speed or maybe a little less instead of zipping around but increase there numbers by a lot. Doing this would in my opinion make people want to work together a lot more. Ok now lets say you are camping on top of a building in elektro with 100 rounds of ammo. You see a dude with an AK. You shoot him and 20 zombies aggro and come to you. No big deal, you shoot them all and loot the dead guy. But if elektro being a high item drop place and it now instead has 2000 zombies littering the streets and you somehow made it to the city by yourself and onto the top of the building. If you see a dude with an AK........will you really shoot? Lets say you don't. And you yell to him "Yo dude up here!" Will he want to shoot you? Maybe. But the chances that guy wants to aggro 2000 zombies will be slim considering the numbers and the distance someone can RUN. So maybe you guys join up. You guys can now take on lets say 300 zombies with the ammo you guys have. Maybe moving to a smaller town with less drop rates but only 100 zombies would be a better idea. Item spawns in smaller towns and places would need to be changed to make smaller cities more desirable to loot to build up on ammo to eventually go to the bigger cities too. Another idea is a postage note. Simple small thing. The ability to make a note that you can put in someones tent, car, place or anything like that. All in all a simple non aggressive way to communicate with someone else without being at gun point. For instance. You come back from a journey to a town to get some supplies with your buddy. You come back to your car you got in the woods next to your tent. You look in your car and there is a postage saying. "Hey guys I saw your camp and noticed you didn't have any food so I dropped off some of my spare food. I have an ATV and a Tent up north on grid 014 and 077 if you guys want to join up drop me off a postage at my tent. In case you don't have any postage notes i left a few blank ones." So instead of finding a tent and saying well........if i stay here i might get shot......if I wait here until i see them and try to talk to them I may startle them and die. A postage would be a nice way to contact players with low hostility. It could also be a way to piss people off. Imagine the same scenario but instead the car is empty and the postage note says "You guys are dumb for putting this car here. I was able to see it from a mile away. Thanks for the guns and lewt. Chow!" And something that also ties in with the postage note idea is maybe a super rare chance to find lets say for instance on a male zombie out in the woods somewhere. On the note it says "To whom this may concern. My name is (insert name) I have set off to find my wife and little girl some food. The market down the road from us in Polana has been over run by zombies and we haven't had a bite of food in a week. I have left my firearms with my wife for protection and set off to find food. I dont know if I will make it back. If I am dead and my fate has been made please help my family they are in a small green house north of the Polana Market by the bus stop." So since you are in the woods just south of polana you set off and made it to the house. You make it inside to see a little zombie girl and mother and 2 other zombies. You kill them and the mother has a hunting rifle with 3 magazines and a 1911 with 4 magazines. The little girl has a backpack with a bottle of water and 2 empty bottles of water matches, painkillers, some bandages. Making about 500 different events like that from a note on a dead zombie or in a car out near a gas station or something like that will add great flavor to the game and add tiny little stories to the game with some reward. Also take bandages and painkillers away from random spawns and make them more house oriented to add desire to small towns. Also adding in a First aid kit that has 2 bandages some painkillers and antibiotics would be nice. Making them rarely spawn in houses would be realistic and helpful and add desire to loot small towns. And also adding in an increased chance to find small arms weapons in houses would also be more realistic and make small towns more desirable to loot.
  2. Im not for or against it.......
  3. Just add a 30 second delay to leaving a game. If you alt F4 your dude still sits ther for 30 seconds.
  4. What FDFJ said.......... and dead baby............
  5. Im all for starting without a backpack. Make hatchets spawn less. But honestly knifes should spawn like crazy in houses.

    MREs

MRE's would be nice. Make them rare and only give health and food. You must have 1 thing of water to use them and when used they give 1500 health and make you go 50% longer than normal before needing to eat again
  7. Im not a fan of "quests" in general but a random event happening rarely with good loot would be nice. I just hope that things will be added to the simulator that makes the player want to kill zombies more. Because until they are added it will be just an arma 2 deathmatch with zombies in it........

    ATV's

I just hate going over a hill at 20km/h and magically the atv flips to the side then you go to get off and you are catapulted 20 feet in the air then fall and break your legs..........in short im all for anything that has to do with getting ATV's more.........umm off road +1
  9. Im not against it or anything. But im all for realism. All i can say is right now a zombie walks into the room and bites you.......were you just typing on the computer holding a tent? When i go to work i dont strap a tent to my back. For realism's sake i say no. Other than that why not i guess.
  10. +1 from me. Anything that adds realism to the game is a plus from me. I would lower the chance to 10% and the life gained reduced to 25% or 50%.
  11. Im all for it. Realism all the way! +1
  12. Only if you have less than 3000 life and food meter is blinking. I dont know about anyone else on this planet but i would only think about eating a person if i was about to die and had no other choice.
  13. I like and dislike the idea.........so im neutral.
  14. Agreed. But the darts fired should take time to put somone to sleep. Say 1 minute? Overall you have my +1
  15. Agreed. Make it +life over X time. But keep blood bags the same.
  16. No.........I mean if the player dies by a zombie I say yes but to anything else non zombie related no.

    bow and arrows

Make arrows stackable. Give us Bows.
  18. It is. I agree completely. Unrealistic and useless.
  19. Agreed. A sniper in a guillie suit isnt running around with a 50lbs backpack.
  20. I agree totally. And going to the airstrip isnt a challenge its just asking to get sniped by some dude sitting on his ass 600m away.
  21. 1) Ok I didn't know that. Maybe for the Standalone then. 2) If I ran around and grabbed 100 people from around a city. The last thing I think any of them would ever ever have on them is a can of beans or empty cans. I just find it weird that most zombies I kill have a can of beans, pasta, sardines, Pepsi, or coke on them. If a zombie apocalypse happened right now and i went outside and killed one. I would be very surprised to find a can of anything on the person. Who walks around with a can of sardines in there pocket. 3) ok didnt know that. 4) Postage notes are not in game. I wouldn't want to tell everyone in a 5km area something that only 4 or 3 or 2 people should know. I never said painkillers, handguns, the like didn't spawn in houses. I merely suggested that the majority of random loot be changed. For instance finding pain killers and a Pepsi in a warehouse is odd. I think it should be more house oriented to make people want to visit small towns more often to find food and drinks.
  22. The DMR and M24 ive been able to use the Height / mil dots high to determine distance but when practicing with the AS50 it is indeed wrong. The mil dots are further apart on the AS50 then the DMR. What ive kinda learned to do is memorize the mil dots on the DMR and guestimate the mil dots high the target is with invisible mil dots..........or you can use a sharpie on your screen LOL.
  23. Sorry for the double post. I found a fix for me. It may work for anyone having trouble. I pressed Ctr. Alt Del and went to processes and ended the dwm.exe Ive had DWM effect many other things. So I gave it a try and it worked.
  24. Wont let me download the new beta patch from http://www.arma2.com/beta-patch.php/ I click the top zip file in the green box like I usually do and my browser does nothing.
