But in more serious talk are you coast hunting? Because i do believe they want you to go inland more rather than coast hunting. You might find more the further you go in. Tried the coast yes but have fared no better inland either. Seen plenty of beef tho! Cows that is, I punched one to death that got stuck by a tree, had nothing to butcher it with tho :(

Yeah where's all the stuff? I've come back after a break and there's very little loot about on servers now. I was hoping to try some of the new content like farming, fishing, newer craftable items etc. However I can't find anything, two hours looking today turned up a pack of seeds a hoodie and a hacksaw. Yesterday a similar amount of searching turned up very little. Kinda been the norm for the last few days on different servers.... Is this normal now? If so how are we supposed to test anything to find bugs if very little spawns?

The long bridge on Namalsk springs to mind here. Been killed a few times trying to cross it in vehicles or on foot.

I'd like to see players limited to a slow jog or walk after running flat out for a few minutes. That way you wouldn't be able to out run zombies in open ground, you could get a head of them but as you tire and slow down they'll catch you up.

What I do is I go back to playing stable although that's boring at the moment because there's nothing to do in stable, I've exhausted all the available content. Giving Dayz a break for a few months and playing something else works wonders.

I agree it leaves a lot to chance I was just throwing it out there as an idea because essentially it's in the game at the moment as a bug and with the regular zombies being so easy to take on this adds a little bit of a challenge.

Okay I did a search and all that came up was people posting up that this is a bug or complaining about it. At the moment on rare occasions I've encountered invisible zombies, I know this is a bug because I can't see them just hear them hitting me yet my friends are able to see them. I know it's not very realistic but it adds a twist to the regular predictable boring zombies, Namalsk used to have those invisible Bloodsucker things and they were pretty cool. I dunno I really like the realism aspect of DayZ and invisible zombies probably aren't every ones cup of tea. Just thought I'd suggest something that's already in the game as a bug could be added to the final release.

I like this server especially as it's hardcore. Would be nice to meet up with a group in game because running solo gets boring after a while :( Server seems to be very bandit orientated as well. I've met about 15-20 people so far and all have been hostile either straight away or after pretending to be friendly :(

I like this idea but I think it needs to wait until the game is finished. At the moment I feel making it too hard to find food will scare people away to other games

I can't get on for any length of time and connection issues when we are on make it unplayable. Me and some friends tried for about an hour yesterday afternoon before we gave up and decided to play something else :(

Dude this game on Xbox live..... I can already hear the screaming prepubescent teens. I've got three Xbox 360s in my house two of them in the kids rooms, both of them in their teens and all I can hear when they're playing CoD or FIFA is raging and screaming. it's like they turn into something else when playing on the damn things. Nice as pie they are and well behaved until they get on their Xboxes. My Xbox on the other hand only really gets used to stream stuff off the home server for the TV in the lounge using Windows Media Player. Probably the best feature of the XBox 360 imo.

Why so mad bro? None is insecure about a console port. People just don't want time, effort and resources taken away from the pc game to develop a cut down poor rendition of a quality idea just to try and make some easy $$$ off of the console kiddies. That mentality is what has ruined the Battlefield series.
