I stopped reading after "I was sitting in the shower room of the barracks" because I could fill in the gaps after. I remember my first time in the barracks, I learned a good lesson that day. 1. Don't go in the barracks alone. 2. Don't go in the barracks if you don't need to. 3. Honestly stay away from the barracks. -

I'm pretty sure you can only use it at night, and once its night out L usually works from my experience although I havent tried using it sense it became a tool instead of a side arm.

I started like a week and a half ago, the best way to get a weapon now is: A) Sneak around until you find a town, if your new stick to the outside of the town and find a barn, then search the barn and around the barn (sometimes there are 1-2 extra enter-able buildings around it), you should be able to find a crossbow at the VERY least, usually you will get the Winchester and at that point you should be good. B) Run like hell in a city until you find an enter-able building then get in the building and prone, you should de-aggro zombies, and continue looting until you get what you need and rinse and repeat. Option A) in my opinion is the easiest and safest way to do things, however I find option B you get more loot in a quicker amount of time however either of these ways do work and will help you get the loot you need. And to be honest what did that little pea-shooter even do for you? I like the way he made it. Anyway, Hugh out, always friendly.
