I've read somewhere that only a few servers actually have vehicles enabled on the map. -
For those struggling to get a good start; just visit some of the large industrial buildings you find. Reason why: 1. They're very large buildings and zombies move slowly through buildings - gives you plenty of room to maneuver around them and back out the building or to other parts in the building to search for loot. 2. Industrial buildings will often drop a hatchet, and a hatchet is perfect for starting off your life. It's silent, infinite ammo, and you can (although it's sort of abusing the weapon) kill zombies without them ever getting near you. Use this for the most part until you can find another weapon you'd rather use.

I would add that it's very easy to ditch zombies in buildings, and to look for a hatchet in industrial buildings or barns as your first weapon. It's silent and very easy to kill zombies with when you run into a building and they're forced to walk. Guns are loud and often not the best weapon choice when just getting rid of a few zombies on your tail so I'd recommend a hatchet over anything to begin with.

My brother and I have been playing for a day or two now and we've been surviving pretty well. We have guns and a decent set of supplies. We're looking for one or two more people who would like to venture inland with us to find better weapons and maybe find a place to set up a camp or something (still not sure how that works, I feel like it would be easy for people to loot...). Anyway, message me on steam (wonkavator) if you're interested. We both have mics so if you have a server or know where one could be used then we can do that as well. We're both US EST btw, and we have a server we're trying to stick with but we can change if needed.
