The same reason I use steam big picture mode. Because I have my computer hooked up to a 50" screen and my couch is farther away than the cord on my G15 Keyboard will reach. So until I go home and set my computer back up on my desk, I would like to play with a controller, as it is a more "accessible" form of control, even though I do realize I will be at a loss in terms of accuracy, I have come to the conclusion that I would be handicapped anyways because I also left my TrackIR at home. My final thoughts: People like you are the reason that people dislike gamers. I know you don't care. I know my opinion does not concern you. But others will read this, and most likely in silence go "That's exactly how I feel". That's good enough for me.

Tents: I believe that tents should be treated as they are in minecraft. Meaning if you put a tent down, you can respawn at your tent. Just an idea. Not as cool as my factions / trading / role playing idea. Not as complex either. I see two options as well. A) Tent is persistent ALL the time, meaning people can steal it. B) Tent is persistent upon player loading and is removed upon player leaving. B.1) If another tent is placed where the first tent was, and then a person leaves and rejoins, the original tent should move to a nearby location, about 10m away. Just some ideas. This goes along with Extended Camps, Factions and Role Playing. >->

So what you're saying is it's against transgender because you cannot switch your sex in game, even tho most transgender change their sex not for the ACTION OF CHANGING, but for the END RESULT. All in all that i see in your argument is trivializing the entire reason of transgenders wishing to change in the first place. A transgender, who is wishing to be a certain gender, will choose the gender they are associated with or wish to be the FIRST TIME THEY PLAY DAYZ. You are solely arguing the lack of choice later by using an extension of an argument that is entirely distant from the main choice. It's entirely a moot point, and you have failed.

GENDER IS NOT A BIG DECISION IN LIFE THAT YOU CAN'T CHANGE. YOU CAN CHANGE IT, AND YOU SHOULD BE FREE TO CHANGE IT. What is wrong with all you people? We're all free to express ourselves in any way we wish. But gender changing is somewhat final. When you undergo sexual reassignment surgeries, and take hormones/testosterone... you've made your choice. Doctors won't just revert these things on a whim. People don't physically go from one gender to another and then back to the original all the time. This would only really be an issue in my eyes if the avatar system was extremely complex but still didn't support males weaing female clothing or makeup and the other way around. But, the game is nowhere near that level of detail, so just wait. Or suggest this be added. Coming on here posting this thread is not the right way to go about it. Crossdressing is changing your gender. Sex reassignment surgeries are one time things, but Day Z makes it a zero time thing by preventing you from changing it ever. Also, males can't wear female suits and females can't wear male suits, so please know what you're talking about before your speak. here's the thing. Transgenders usually, when they change, decide to be the sex that they are the moment they change, and usually remain that way forever. They don't change every day, or every other month. They are usually born one way, and switch to another way, and call it a day/life. What you do at the beginning, if you so want to, is choose the sex you wish to have at the beginning of your life. I know a few trans-peoples and if they were to make a choice at the beginning of their play of DayZ, they would probably choose the gender they associate with. Where as in my case I chose female simply because I was curious how female weapon animations would be in DayZ, and also because i find females to be more of a "stealth" character, and it's hard for me to feel that was as a bulky male character. Now, in Arma 3 I will probably choose male as i'll be able to (hopefully) make my character as light and stealthy as possible.
