No. You have to find your radios. No starting out with one.
  2. Updated Post Again. -Added More information about Factions -Began work on Role Play ideas. -Fixed up small errors. -Made lists nicer -Wrote Changelog about post since it's a REALLY LONG POST. -Found out double posting merges your post with previous post. Quite interesting, i have to admit.
  3. What I think needs to happen is some sort of "Factions" effect, and some sort of "reward" for trading. Maybe each character can have a specific skill or something through trading. Example: "Faction - Fox Squad is created. " "Fox Squad average player group is Neutral, considered traders." "Fox Squad trades with United Ops" "Fox Squad and United Ops groups gain small benefits for trading, such as increased skills pertaining to certain things, Eg. Higher Survival rate through Slower blood loss" Make it build up over time so you have to trade, but don't make it based on the amount of trades or the type of trades. Make it pertain to how often they trade over the course of a week vs how often then kill someone. Each time they kill someone it makes it so they get less "rewarded" when they DO do something good. Killing someone would get it's own rewards however: Example: "Killing enough people allows one to become cannibal." "Cannibal's die easier when shot at, but can give more damage." "Become insane, possibly force survivors that arn't moving to look like zombies? (idk if possible in engine.)" Idk, there just needs to be a pro-con system of each way of doing it, although I would recommend placing more negative features of killing people for no reason. I think the actual creation of faction groups and persistent camps would be AMAZING. Possibly using the system of creating walls and stuff similar to Project Reality? >->
  4. Personally, even my roommate who has like, the worst computer in the world, can run the game just fine with the grass. I think you're just too lazy to get a better computer. *inb4 money conversation* I upgraded my rig by doing side jobs using skills I had while I was unemployed after getting fired from Walmart, while still paying my rent, phone bills, and car insurance. The only reason i asked anyone for ANY sort of money was because my roommates forgot to inform me I had to pay a little more than double rent one month PLUS a deposit, cause they're silly. >-> Wonder what is going to happen to all of you when ARMA 3 comes out. Yes I am being a little elitist, I'll admit that, but bemoaning an issue simply because your computer can't handle it is a sign that your computer can't handle it, not an issue of the game itself. I will admit, though, ARMA 2 is an unoptimized POS that is CPU bound. :( But still, the grass is fine. What ISN'T fine is how dark nights are >->
