A surviver with just a pistol ran past me and my friend in cherno he had a huge horde behind him so we shot him in the back as he ran past; It wasn't a pointless killing he brought the attention to us so we took him out.

I actually found it more entertaining with no weapon; made weapons a number one priority. Just makes players go to the big towns for resources and hopefully bring back the mugging system instead of the random killing. Last 3 lifes i've got guns by doing. 1) Sneaking up on a spy entering his/her backpack and taken all there ammo and weapon then ran away. 2) Running straight for electro and heading in the mid loot buildings then running away (running in and out of buildings to slow/loose zombies) 3) Someone actually drove along the coast handing out pistols to noobs and gave me a lift to cherno It's not hard; it's because your used to today's 'easy' gaming if you are a retro gamer then you should know back in our day playing a game was A LOT more difficult than it is today.

It will work fine, no need to worry. I hope you enjoy DayZ as much as i do.

If i create a different character/ID will it over-write my existing data for the other character? Just trying to find a way I could have two accounts one for solo and one for grouping

Always said to myself I wouldn't kill survivors prior to getting the mod. Then I found myself getting killed on average every 20minutes and got sick of helping players along the coast get to major cities etc. So im now a sneaky git who will ask if your friendly and if you don't reply you will get shot, also if you look shady.
