You know, the only time I was reckless and didn't try to lurk around in the bushes with my rifle out, I got ambushed & killed. I just sprinted unarmed between the little jail building and the northern tents and some dude shot me. But I'd still say western Cherno & Balota is the most dangerous area in the SA.

I really don't have any other explanation other than that I like playing in 1st person. Better indoors, better when you suddenly get shot at, etc. And if you want to succeed on 1st person servers you need some planning on your gear. You can't have a melee weapon sticking out your back or a huge mountain backpack blocking your view if you want to use free look (ALT) effectively. A hunting backpack with a machete is the best for those.

Most games I ever had on this PC barely run smoothly on all lowest, so I want to enjoy the shiny and glowy shit this time. It really makes the game look nice once you turn off the rotation blur. It looks nice too but seriously it's unbearable.

Then you should be able to feel the pulse from the neck. A way to confirm someone's dead and not unconscious/faking.

TTsKO jacket has map and compass and a protector case with food and a canteen, Pants have an FNX/Revolver, one mag/speedloader/rounds and extra 40 rounds, Vest has a combat knife and a med kit with 2 bandages, pain killers, adrenaline and something? No backpack + concealed weapons style. Not very effective on the long run though. Or if you're a medic. Or maybe it can be, just throw in a backpack full of medkits that are full of saline bags?

If you make even the smallest indicator for a friendly player from a distance, everyone is gonna mark everyone on the server friendly and just scan the treeline.. Ahh, DayZ mod.

You run faster and you see further. It is because the draw distance. I also noticed that I can see green mountain from very long distances.

I think they now improved the accuracy and turned down the damage a bit. I really think this is better than not hitting shit past 50 meters and otherwise killing in one shot.. But the ballistics should be now more realistic overall.

You should also be able to harvest stones from the big rocks.

Realistically everyone would look athletic, or get buff if they eat "too much". The DayZ survivors get too much exercise to gain any body fat. It would be all muscles.

This randomly keeps happening to me. Yesterday I was on a really shitty server that had poor connection, so I "server hopped" in middle of the woods to a better one. Then I spawned as the last guy I had in the experimental patch, the worse one. Same thing also happened before too.

I finally found my electrician hardhat! :D Now I only need a black vest, some cargo pants and working boots. (And to ditch that ugly ass gasmask, I only kept it cause I found it from a warehouse for some reason)

Yeah, that doesn't make too much sense. It probably will be fixed.
