Hahaha, just about 10 minutes ago, I was at the construction site in middle of nowhere (A very exposed place), so I was just about to check the final loot spaces, when a bandit fires me with an AS50. I just went to prone before he shot. My screen went all orange from the suppression effect. Then I started running trough the small buildings and I used the small hole in the wall to crawl trough. Not long after, I heard some smaller rifle hit past me and about 5 more shots from the AS50. I went downhill, so I lost them and went to a big warehouse nearby. I guess not very many people make it trough all that. I'm not actually sure if it's exactly AS50, but it was semi-automatic and the sound was loud + the insane suppression effect. And I'm not sure why would they want to shoot me, since I only have a lee enfield, 6 mags for it and I even have the starting backpack.

He said he wanted to fucking drive, then why not try the core game? It's not that hard to spawn yourself a vehicle and drive it around. No need to come whining here, vehicles are not supposed to be found around every corner in this game.

If the War Z is not made by Rocket, then I'm staying with DayZ. Simple as that. E: Fuck that War Z rip-off, it's not a coincidence that they started to make a copy from this mod after it got much sales for Arma2. I first thought "WarZ" was supposed to be the stand-alone name for "DayZ", but then I googled it.

Well, today I heard zombies aggroing when I was in the residental buildings near the hospital in Cherno. Then I saw a guy running with an ALICE pack, so I started pursuing him. Then I shot him for that, appears he just ran into the hospital that was looted, since he didn't have any weapons on him. I also found the bodies of the group that got the hospital. Loaded with morphine and blood bags. Ditched the blood bags and took 4 morphines. The guy I shot didn't look like he was trying to make friends either...

Anyone who says it's fine is lying. One time I ran off from the stairs in the barn by accident and I swear, I fell only like 3 steps and I broke my legs. Luckily I had some morphine, so I got away with it. But I still lost a lot of blood.

Either as part of Arma 3 OR as a stand-alone game. Your pick. If it's monthly fee, then you can forget it.

So, there's this page for beta patch right? Well, the problem is that when I try to download it, it asks me for some kind of account and I have never had to do this before. I typed some random shite in the account field and it says no data received. Now I can't retype it and keeps on going "No data received" even if I refresh the page. I don't know what did I do wrong, I just wanted the beta patch.

So I started off from Three Valleys last evening, I ran around there and found a lee enfield. Then, I kept going forward and I found a CZ550 in a barn and ALICE pack outside, but no food and I'm nearly starving. Then I go in a killing massacre and finally find one can of food from a zombie. After a while (today) I notice that my hunger is slightly down, I run into a big barn and search 3 small buildings, but no food. Then I do this again, I run in a small barn nearby, kill a dozen of zombies and none of them had any food. One warped (or spawned) right behind my back and knocked me out (I managed to hit it before though) After this was over, I had only 4800 blood and I was nearly starving. So I started sprinting and looked for another village. Then I knew it was hopeless, I started a chaos there, first I shot last bullets of my lee enfield and started a massacre with a hatchet, I killed at least 30 zombies before I lost all my blood. I found one can of food, but I had below 3000 blood, which wasn't nice.

M1911 kills pretty easily and I've found .45 acp rounds everywhere. I have only found it once, in Cherno. It's not suppressed. In Arma 2, there is a suppressed version, but in DayZ, it's the normal one.

My best WAS: Bizon SD with three mags G17 with four mags Basic tools: Compass, watch, hunting knife, hatchet, toolbox.. Binoculars Medical supplies, I had some blood bags, but I have no use for them since I'm alone. And a lot of food and drinks. I have never found anything better than that, I play alone. And I don't think M4A3 CCO is better than Bizon.

So, you are saying you're a sniper when you killed 11 people alone, which is more loot than your little group could carry. So in other words, you killed them for nothing and that doesn't even count as banditry, that counts as murder.

When playing at night they are fucking blind, even if you had flashlight and flares.

What about bringing up the common weapons (Makarov, for example) even more common and the military weapons even more rare? I have never found a makarov, but I had like 10 mags for it last time..

Don't you worry, just get every zombie you see on your tail and find a large building. Then wait until they get to the corner, take the possible loot and get out of the building. Maybe pick up a few tin cans, so you can humilate the dumb fucks while you're there. Then just crawl away and be done with it. Who needs a weapon anyways?

I completely left behind the old-fashioned sneaking style what I had with the new aggro range, now I think it takes less time to do this when they lose track of you.

I actually like the new zombie aggro, I got used to it already. I managed to crawl trough a very bad spot, I had 2 zombies behind a wall coming my way and another two waiting ahead. So I decided to crawl away, and I swear the zombie were like 10 meters away from me, so I don't think it's that bad.

So, just about a minute ago, I went to a night server with only a flashlight as a lightsource. I saw Zub Castle (Had to confirm with a map) So then, I found some flares inside, popped a few and none of the zombies saw me, didn't have to use my trusty double-barreled shotgun. That was my first ever night raid and a successful one, so I left before any other survivors came in. I found some slugs for my shotgun from there. Then I saw this little village in my flashlight. I threw two flares and checked for some loot, but I didn't bother to go in, because I already was stocked up on food and drinks. Then at the end of the village, a zombie appeared. I thought I already sneaked past him, so I started running. Then I heard the aggro noise, so I tried to throw a flare, which worked, but then I started throwing another one for no reason. Then one single zombie knocked me the fuck out and I bled out. Funny, I managed to raid Cherno without a scratch with a crossbow on this time... I had 11000 blood and died thanks to flare throwing speed and bug. By the way, I had everything from toolbox to morphine, so I was kinda pissed off... Well, off to another try.

Nothing, just wasted all my slugs when I tried to sneak past a village. A zombie saw me from 40 meters when I stood (in crouching mode) idle scouting around. Then all the other zombies aggroed and I dropped them all. It pissed me off, so I came here to see if anyone else had the "issue", only to find out it was a feature. Well, I didn't have any problem at killing them, but I wasted some good ammo in that.

So, if someone opens fire and you shoot back, killing him, you have a chance of randomly killing yourself after 1 hour? No thanks.

Got attacked 2 times near the military tents near Stary Sobor on a Finnish server. So I don't think so.

That map is missing one spot, I found one in a spot I wont tell you. I don't support your idea of farming them.

Try putting barbed wire next to a fence. When they try to climb in, they will glitch and get all their bones crushed. I tried this myself. Also, the NPC's would be easy to kill while your offline or looting cities.

The infected might be strong, but they have bad vision. You can basically sneak trough them when crawling. I looted Stary Sobor's supermarket and a Heli crash site without having to open fire.
