I found a duplicating glitch as well. Everytime I log in, another empty tent appears next to mine. Weird.

I would say G17. It has a flashlight, it has better sights than M1911, shoots faster, has lower recoil and has bigger magazine. Only disadvantages are: Low damage and rare ammo.

That's because I haven't even seen this weapon in DayZ before, but I have found M4A3 two times. I don't know why it's not appearing for me.

I don't know if this is a really good one, because I usually die when something bad happens or very shortly after it. Well, on my current character I was low on blood and I didn't have any matches, so I ran trough Cherno a few times and got my blood back on full by only eating canned food. Now I have a tent up, which I found from the supermarket. And also found a ghillie suit from some unfortunate guys tent.

Hahaha, I like when people refer the zombies to famous athletes for their strength :D First they were Usain Bolt zombies, now they evolved into Mike Tyson zombies.

Getting boring? Hell to the fuck no. I will be having much more fun in standalone than now, since it will polish the features, add more enterable buildings, comes with the new engine and and smoother controls.. I could go on for ages. And if there's one thing that will make me play even more is better servers and shorter loading times.

Standalone DayZ will be using the new engine and will have better animations/less sluggish controls. And don't you dare even speak of War Z here, you're talking about the ArmA engine. If this was based on something else, it wouldn't be anywhere as realistic and it wouldn't have the PvP adrenaline. Have you even touched the core game?

The zombies are a threat, when they have aggroed you, you can't stop running away until you kill them (Which is difficult if you don't have a powerful weapon) or you find a building, otherwise you can get your legs smashed. And if you start bleeding in an open field, being chased by zombies, you will have to either kill the zombies very quickly or bleed out. Aggroing zombies can give your position away, leaving you helpless when another players shoot you. I hate it when people say they aren't a threat.

I've been shot at by an AS50 and I can tell that the sound it makes is a very loud "BANG!", I mean it sounds like it's fired right next to you. The suppression effect is mental as well, my screen went literally orange.

Damnit, I found sandbags from Balota a few days ago. Too bad I have no use for fortifications, so I didn't take them.

When someone is in the same area I'm looting, he will get shot. Although people usually combat log :huh: But at least I scare them off then.. When I hide and I don't open fire: When a vehicle or two passes by.

They take up the same slot. This might be for balance as well though, what's the point of shooting zeds when you can find a silent melee weapon around every corner? I know I wouldn't shoot a single zed if I could equip the hatchet along with my primary + secondary. Now you might ask me, why don't you use it then? Because if someone shoots me or I get to a bad situation, I would die.

My best one would be some rookie trying to take me out in the military tents. Right after I got some cover, I saw him running in the hills in fear. I never saw him again.

The problem is that you spawn on the coast if you do that. I know what they have to do, they have to improve the servers. Usually the servers where you have to wait for 5 minutes are laggy as hell. Then I've been to servers what load in 20 seconds and don't lag.

I usually keep every survivor as a threat at first, especially if I see that bandit skin. That's just because I'm playing alone. If it happens to be a friendly one, I'll let him pass. But if he even points his weapon at me, I will open fire. This one time I wasn't sure if a guy was about to get cover or just passing trough, so I started shooting. After that, some guy killed us both. Apparently he was friendly. I do kill people for their loot at start of a new game (If they happen to have something great). After that it's just self-defence.

That should be coming (Rocket mentioned it, but I'm not 100% sure) in the standalone as a feature. Something like finding scopes and suppressors, then putting them on your weapon with tools.

I hate how other people are so rare to find, that you wont know if the guy is actually a bandit, but hasn't killed in a while. The humanity shouldn't start rising over time. Only good deeds should raise humanity.

Exactly! We need small .22 rifles with common ammo in farms. Does the same amount of "blood" damage (Check DayZ wiki - Weapons) as a pistol and is dead accurate with low recoil, slow fire rate and doesn't make much noise. That's exactly what I'm dreaming of. Kind of like the Makarov of rifles.

Heard someone shooting a Makarov like mad in about 50 meters in Cherno. So I took a good spot for an ambush if he moves. Then I heard zombies aggro, I saw the guy run across the street. I shot him once with my Winchester and dropped him on the floor. Then, I started crawling towards his body and I think he combat logged on me when he got up. I should have shot him a few more times.
