I found an FN Fal with the night scope yesterday and I left it behind, because I had an AKM and NVGs. I got murdered later on, so it wouldn't matter anyways. Do you think I did a bad move there?

Because they want to rob the vehicle... I wouldn't kill anyone who is kind enough to give me a free ride.

ChernarusPlus will be better than anything, trust it.

I hope you can find welding equipment inside factories, you could make homemade blades with that and a toolbox (Sharpening) :D

Sometimes it annoys me, but It's not really that far from good spots. I ran past all the towns to Cherno in about 30 minutes.

I'm looking forward for some new low-grade weapons and BOWS! That will be awesome.

I have found four in my DayZ lifetime. This is, because I like raiding farms :D It's a great weapon, I had it on my longest survival attempt.

So, as Rocket said, there will be new animations for the standalone. I hope these are included: Switching weapons and throwing while running/walking. This is something that needs to be improved. I think there's a plenty of other actions you can only do while standing still, which makes this game so clunky and awkward.

This wouldn't really change anything, would just make murdering easier. Easier to hit the head when dropped on the floor?

I have gone trough Cherno to Balota without NVGs. Also, my first castle raid was during night. Was pretty fun. Flares + flashlights is the way to go.

I have pretty much the same, other than a better CPU and a worse graphics card. I run at 100-200 fps on low settings.

I just got murdered in a firefight probably 3 bandits VS me. One of those guys failed sneaking up on me, so I lighted him up with my AKM. Then I hear A LOT of some sniper and automatic rifle fire on me, not sure where exactly, so I put my AKM on full auto and start firing. I got hit a plenty of times, they broke my legs and I was nearly bled out. Well, they got scared of the AKM, so I tried bandaging myself, but that was too late, the sniper got me. This happened randomly in middle of nowhere. On that guy, I had everything from NVGs to rangefinders, AKM with 13 mags, an M9 with 3 mags, a lot of beef and all the tools. And I had pretty good luck earlier, I found 2 heli crash sites, one yesterday and one about an hour ago. And just to add, I really wasn't aware at all, so that kinda took me by surprise. Still good I managed to get one of the fuckers.

You never know when you get shot there, it seems empty there, but after you're in there, someone appears and wants to fight. I have been killed once in Cherno while looting and I have been killed 4 times while in Stary Sobor, for example. And I have been in a few more fights in Stary Sobor. The first time I went to the tents, I got shot at.

I prefer the current spawns, tbh. If you make people spawn at Stary Sobor, it gets completely rid of the danger aspect. Right now, Stary Sobor is full of geared up bandits with military weapons.

No... This would kill the game. Maybe get rid of .50 cals and rangefinders, then it would be fine. I like the CZ.

Well, to mount weapons, that should require shitloads of scrap metal.

Rocket said the standalone will make NVG's require batteries to make them more difficult to maintain. I like it :D

The zombies are much faster than survivors and can't hit while running. So once they catch you up, they try to hit you, then they fall back and catch up again, then try to hit you and it goes on as long as you keep running. This is why they randomly stop.

The alpha will be out this year, they are doing it like Minecraft.
