It is good if you have a sidearm with loads of ammo. I had a 1911 with 16 mags and I was using a hatchet. It also saves space, most of the supplies go where primary ammo goes. You can also use rifles as temporary weapons, empty the mag, throw it away and get your hatchet from the toolbelt.

I found one at the Stary Sobor tents. Never found a DMR though and I'm a legit player. It's a good rifle.

Where's the logic? Little girls cannot run faster than full-grown men. Well, unless it's a fat zombie, but all the men in Chernarus work out regularly, they can walk trough 1000 kilos of debris and punch your legs in half :D

I do agree that there should be some zombified survivors, who weren't immune to the virus and got infected. They should have a small backpack (Containing some supplies, but not much.) and some different survivor clothing, but act like normal zombies.

Not eventually, the standalone was supposed to have some new models. If they are not getting new models yet (In the following standalone alpha), they will be getting them sometime after the alpha, if my predictions are right. -
IED's are a bit too powerful at the moment though.. Just make them not blow up buildings and have less radius. I don't want the game to be "balanced", but I don't want a bunch of fuckers "trolling" by blowing up every single building with their IEDs.

From what I understand, standalone will be getting shitloads of added animations. They can do all kinds off stuff like limping and vomiting. And on top of that, I heard bows are being added as well. So I think that's a bunch of new animations.

Yeah, this is a good suggestion. You should be able to find ammo in packs, to fill your mags. But I don't like that you have to spend a minute to load your mags. I fucking hate waiting in games. Doesn't matter how unrealistic loading mags without a stripper clip in a second is, I just don't want it.

Well, you know it would require a long animation of you first lighting the match, then taking the molotov cocktail out. I thought it was much simpler, that you just take the lighter and the molotov in your other hand, then just light it and throw. Now that I think about it, I think those both should be implemented.

I want humanity in standalone, but no skins. I want custom clothes to be randomly found in buildings. I think the heart beat when you aim at bandits should be one of those indicators. It needs some additional ones though. I don't know about heroes though. -

Yeah, I also have an idea on how to implement it: There would be full bottles of whiskey found (in addition to the empty ones), then just some random rag from a dumpster and some gasoline. And obviously something to light it with, a lighter as a new item. This could be one of those "crafted" weapons Rocket wants to add.

Different kind of melee weapons, like in Dead Island, expect a little more unique weapons. For example: A big fire axe wielded by two hands, devastating strikes, swing comes from upper direction. (Something like the current hatchet, but slower recovery, because the axe weights a lot) 1 body shot to kill a zombie. A small hatchet, causes pain and bleeding in one hit, the damage itself isn't as good as the old hatchet, but the swings are faster. Swing comes from horizontal direction. 2-3 body shots to kill a zombie. A claw hammer/other short light weapon. Causes the opponent's screen shake when he gets hit (Only effective in PvP), takes a few more hits to cause bleeding/death, but will break your bones effectively. Will cause unconsciousness and bleeding in one hit if hit in the head. Strike comes straight forward as a "punch", not a swing. 4-5 body shots to kill a zombie. A machete/other "sword" type weapon. Causes bleeding in one hit, swing is horizontal, hatchet style. It's a pretty fast melee weapon, but doesn't cause massive damage, since it makes good cuts, but not huge open wounds like the hatchet. 3 body shots to kill a zombie. A sledgehammer/other very heavy blunt weapon, causes the "screen shake" and unconsciousness in one body shot, takes 2 hits to kill and one headshot to kill. Swing comes from upper direction, but it isn't a very light weapon to handle, so swinging and the recovery use a lot of stamina and take a little longer than the fire axe. 1 body shot to kill a zombie. Just some more complicated melee suggestions, the direction of the swing is pretty important in my suggestion, since a horizontal swing will hit anything that gets in the way, while a directional swing will require you to point the crosshair at the place you want to hit. -
I still don't know if it would cause lag issues or massive loading times, but if you want one server to have all maps on separate.. Well, maps, it would require loads of players, if you don't want it to seem like you're the only person on the entire server, right? I'm not the expert on the server stuff, but I like to look at the possible faults before going all crazy on the suggestion.

But on this particular case everyone calls DayZ "Day-Zee", so if someone pronounces it like day in plural (Days), people will get confused. -

Said it before, good luck finding players after that. It's also a little bit too big for ArmA, right? You don't want to wait for 50 hours to get in a server. So in other words, it's better when they are in separate maps, (in my opinion).

Well, there's no real backstabbing, because most of the times there's not even interaction between the players. It feels just like another shooter game, other players feel like dumb AI, see a player and shoot it without even saying anything. -
