You know, I keep finding M9SD mags everywhere, but this one time I actually got the weapon itself and kept finding shitloads of G17 mags.. I had to drop the weapon for a 1911, because I didn't find anything.

This happened once, it was: "Uncle was killed" Then after 10 seconds "Nephew was killed" Then some others: "Bear Grylls was killed" or: "The Walking Dead was killed"

I think glowing nock arrows would be pretty good. They would lit up when you draw them back, will work something like tracers on bullets. Makes hunting and practice easier, since you see where you hit. I think the colors should be like the chemlight's, blue, green and red glow nocks could be found.

Just let me ask you this: When/how do you have the time to tie another player down, before he kills you?

I spawned west of Cherno, so I started off by sneaking into the supermarket. Suddenly, a zombie had aggroed me from 50 meters, so I ran inside there. I saw another heavily armed player in the back, so I said: "Aww man, fucking zombies" followed by: "No shooting, right?" He started mowing down the zombies with his M4A1. I grabbed a Makarov and joined him. I thanked him for the help, he said "No problem, you were unarmed so you couldn't harm me" (Or something like that) After that, I went to the church, got a bigger backpack and an M1911, I logged out (To eat) Then when I logged in, guess who was aiming his M4 at me? The same guy. I said: "Holy shit, don't shoot me" and he laughed. Later on, we went to the hotel and killed every zed in the area. After that, he said he would be heading North and that's when we split up. Probably the most fun I've ever had in DayZ.

It has absolutely no advances, so it's an useless feature. You can already find fuel tanks outside gas stations and it's not faster than those. Just drive next to a fuel tank and click a few times, 300 liters filled in less than a minute.

If you call people "campers" then you are playing the wrong game.

It also might be because the zeroing is fixed. I've had this on some ArmA weapons.

The idea itself is very interesting, but it will be too easy. Someone can just follow the beach and just hold "w". Can you starve or dehydrate in that time?

I crashed my bicycle that I had for about 2 minutes before this happened into one of those green collapsed walls what are usually in the sides of fields. I didn't have much blood and I have changed my FOV, so I couldn't see it before I went 70 km/h straight into it. Both wheels and "hull" went down and it didn't move. Sadly there were no industrial buildings near, so I kept on walking. Surprisingly, I didn't take any damage from it. If that happened in real life, there would be several broken bones.

The guy in the original post said it would require a teammate to remove bullets. That's what I was saying, not asking anyone to explain this to me. I know what it does in real life, but I'm looking at a game feature here.

Well, then even a single 9mm round will end up in killing me, if I can't even attempt to remove the bullet. Maybe make it so if you remove the bullet yourself, it will result in a bigger chance of getting an infection and more bleeding, but so you can still live trough it if you are healthy otherwise.

I agree you on that. Everyone says "USE THE FUCKING SEARCH BUTTON" and wants you to bump threads that are like 3 months old. I think you can see what the community wants, if there are many people requesting the same thing.

Exactly, if you want to wait for 2013 to get it for Steam, then go ahead. The one getting released next month is an open alpha.

If that is what is considered a geared up player in the STANDALONE, I will pissed off. What really pisses me off, is that people are carrying two heavy rifles around and there's no way in hell any of you would be able to find a fucking sniper rifle before dying in a real-life apocalypse. Same goes for me. So: Any player that carries a military rifle should be considered a high-end player. A geared up player should be one with basic equipment, supplies and a civilian rifle. A starter should be considered a player with some necessary supplies and only a melee weapon.

1. New melee. 2. New zombies. 3. Smoother/faster animations. I'm not including some bug fixes, if I wanted to make 3 changes it would be something that actually changes the game and improves it a lot.

I don't think so. I actually hated it to be honest. Chernarus is still my favorite one.
