Best version: Steam version or Non-Steam version?

The kind of version which is on Steam, but does not require you to log in so you can play it. Kinda like ArmA2/DayZ at the moment. -
There has to be a singleplayer mode. If your internet is fucked (This will be a problem for me) or you just don't feel like playing online, you could still play. I don't need any NPCs for it though. Just DayZ as singleplayer, no more than that. Yes, and I said singleplayer MODE. I want the multiplayer mode to be the main focus, but I want a quick singleplayer conversion of it.

Nice, I was once hit by a godmode ninja DMR hacker, who jumped on me from a high building... In Cherno. I ran to Cherno with only a hatchet and a revolver to get some medical supplies and a new rifle. I came across a guy with an AKM who was aiming it at me. I got hit by one round and he got the .45 five times to the chest and once to the neck. Got the new rifle pretty quick :D

I will be happy with the first Standalone release, I know it will be amazing without having many new features added in. Just polishing the old ones and adding new engine stuff will make the game better.

Shotgun damage should be instant kill, and potential for multiple kills.

Buckshot rounds are great.. I had an 870, took 2 shots at a bandit at Balota. First one hit legs and feet and second shot hit the body. Went straight down. -

One thing confuses me, how the fuck would a can or a metal tube slow the bullet down? It wont even do anything, the bullet will go right trough and make the same amount of noise as before. By the way, it's called the suppressor. Maybe that will give you a hint what it actually does.

How about M1 Abrams? Wait, how about artillery and nuclear bombs?

I can't really imagine a military simulator on a console. The controller wouldn't have enough buttons, the map would be small and other shit like this. I'm sure console players would like it, but it wouldn't be as good as the PC version.

You would get your mug flooded before you got inside prison, so you better keep that mouth shut. I doubt anyone would be stupid enough to go fistfight armed bandits just to look tough. Well, you guys are an exception of course. -
Oh yeah, now that I remember, this has happened to me. There was an objective set and I could see myself in first person, but not in third person. I disconnected after a while.

I cry tears.. TEARS everytime someone suggests snapping necks and choking people. Now you took it to another level, Tekken style combos and pulling heads off. Sounds too good, can't wait for you to do that while your facing bloodthirsty zombies and armed bandits. (The point was, the DayZ players aren't Jason Bournes who have black belts and have gone trough some military training. Well, some are in real-life, but let's just say the guy you are playing is hasn't.) -

You have made up the story, but there is a monster called "bloodsucker" in the Namalsk mod. Some hacker could spawn it to scare players.

M16A2, M16A4, M4A1 Those are all military versions of the same exact weapon, AR-15.

Change use of .50 cal Sniper Rifles

You should be able to fire it standing, but it should wobble around and have more recoil. Moving the weapon around while holding it in the firing position should also slow movement down. -
I was also thinking that if Lee-Enfield would have a scope, it could become a very popular sniping weapon. I have been practicing with it a few times in the shooting range and I hit targets at 400 meters without having to worry about bullet drop. It still hits the targets at 500m, but a little low. The velocity the bullets travel at is also pretty amazing.

I love the fact that I can swap the common DMR mag to M24 mags. The first time I found it, I also found 4 DMR mags. I saved the DMR mags for later use and put them in my backpack.

What's your longest survival time?

Maybe my current one, it's probably on 39 days. I have played on 4 of those days :D But for real, the longest one is 27 days until I got bored and killed myself. -
Hatchet is chambered in "hack" and uses an invisible belt of 10000 rounds. "Killing zombies quietly with your buttstock?" There's no such thing as killing zombies "quietly" with your buttstock. You would have to beat the living shit out of the zombie and that wont be quiet.
