FrankieOnPCin1080p's Settings For DayZ
Sutinen replied to DelZ's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
Who the fuck cares about his settings? Quit being a fanboy, seriously. -
When you go into the action menu, there would be a "Dance" option :D
-
You don't need subsonic rounds to suppress a weapon, but it will be more efficient, since they use less gunpowder. Smaller "pow"

Question regarding your hearing, how you hear other footsteps, etc
Sutinen replied to Spidey (DayZ)'s topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
If you are very close to the enemies, you can silently roll towards them. It sounds silly, but it wont make a noise. Then, if you keep failing on sneaking towards enemies, you better learn how to flank and avoid aggroing zombies. Do not run on roads (Crawl) or gravel (Crouch-walk), because zombie hearing is bugged at the moment. -
That's a pretty nice idea, I never thought about it that way. What if there was a seat for the shopping cart if it's empty, so you can push people off cliffs? :D

Are you Ready for the Bloodsucker?
Sutinen replied to Cosmic (DayZ)'s topic in Mod Servers & Private Hives
But it's not DayZ. It's DayZ Namalsk. Namalsk isn't the most realistic mod. -
Yeah, I agree with that. Would add more stuff to find.

There needs to be a holster, the pistol shouldn't "spawn" in the hand..

The Day Before the Standalone
Sutinen replied to Rick the Survivor's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
Me too, except I play sometimes. Right now, I'm scouting the forums and tumblr for any new updates. -
By the way, how the fuck do I find servers now that I have it?
-
will dayz get removed off arma2 once dayzSA is out?
Sutinen replied to Pixelwarrior's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
Yes it is right. The community has created the last two patches. The standalone will still be released and will be better, if you question that. -
Oh man, I've been following that mod.
-
With Standalone using part of the Take on Helicopters engine, you don't even have to worry about heli stuff.
-
I don't think that's possible, since it's so widely used. It is a reliable weapon, but it's not that good.
-
I don't think humanity should be gone, but it should be like the one patch where they removed bandit skins and added the heartbeat. In my opinion that was pretty good.

Philly. North Philly. :D

do you think peripheral dots will be in dayz standalone?
Sutinen replied to Pixelwarrior's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
I don't like them... I can see zombies without them. -
What weapons or vehicles would you like to see in the standalone?
Sutinen replied to -Gews-'s topic in DayZ Mod Suggestions
You can keep believing that a knife is more lethal than an axe. I'm out. I fucking quit. -

Get this trough your head: If your entire ribcage is broken and you have a hatchet blade sized wound in there, then I doubt you're gonna survive that without some high tech doctors and shit. If you have a single stab wound, it's easy to close and bandage up. It will be hurting, but it's not lethal. -

Yeah, what does that have to do with anything? Knives are easy to conceal, that is why they're favored. If you go walking around with a hatchet, you will get arrested before you get to hit anything. And if you die from one stab, then you are weak as hell. A normal person could take multiple strong stabbings to non-vital organs and survive it easily. Of course if he gets medical assistance after that. -
Cocaine!! Wait, what are we talking about?
-
I like NYC a lot, but it's way too popular in disaster movies/games/whatever. I thought The Walking Dead was great, because they picked Georgia over all these big cities.

I don't kill starters, I met a guy with a hatchet who was apparently trying to hunt me down, because he saw me in a firestation tower. First, I hear a bunch of zombies aggro and see him jet up in the tower. I have an urge to take him down, but instead I tell him that I wont shoot him. Then I get as close as 5 meters away from him and he doesn't attack me with the hatchet. He asks "Why are you following me?" in a very nervous tone. Then we both run away in the opposite directions. Surprisingly, I didn't get a hatchet in my back when I stopped for some scouting. I think that went pretty well.

Okay, which one you want, do you want me to stab you trough your chest (Not hitting the heart), or swing a hatchet as fast as I can, breaking your entire ribcage and making a huge open wound? Think of a real life situation before talking about lethality.
