I suggest crawling up the stairs inside the tower and rolling off the side. That should kill you.

Revolver, I hate how they did the other guns. Plus you don't need a magazine and it puts down people very quickly.

I don't really know what happened, I first thought the elevator shaft was too narrow for the ArmA engine and it crushed my guy but it's apparently a glitch. Those leg breaking notifications came up in like .1 seconds.

This has happened to me lots of times, expect I didn't wait until someone killed me. When you press esc you can actually see your character just standing right there.

Staying in treelines, never running on streets, looking everywhere before crossing a street and carefully checking out high value loot places (slicing the pie around corners, etc.), like I was raiding some drug kingpins home in Mexico. Sometimes when I feel like it, I do this to every house, but only when I'm really bored and have way too much gear. Oh and I guess using ALT counts as being more tacful.

I'm pretty sure Berezino/NEAF/Svetloyarks has already became the next Balota/Cherno/Elektro for most players. The difference is no firestations in the big cities and no tents at the airfield. Still would be nice to have some more spawns, I hate always spawning next to Berezino, knowing it's gonna be empty of loot and dangerous. I went AFK near the spawn for only 30 secs as a fresh spawn and when I came back I was already dead.

I hope you realize that using zombies as an excuse to add shit features is when DayZ starts going downhill.

Okay, let's start from where the crossbow, .22's and the double barreled spawn. These weapons should very rarely spawn at the police station and .22 pistols should never spawn in police cars. They should all spawn in random shit huts in the countryside, in barns, in hunting cabins, even in houses lying around in any room. Secondly, .22 mags should never spawn in military loot. It doesn't make any sense. You can't find them anywhere in regular houses but when you go to a military base you got shit loads of .22 mags lying around. It pisses me off that I can't find a .22 rifle or a Crossbow anywhere in the backwoods but then they spawn in "piano houses" and "schools", where everyone goes. It's funny how you go to Slevtoyarks and you just find every "piano house" with it's doors wide open but every single other building is ignored. Shit, I could even include the Mosin and the Blazer rifle in there, but I know there isn't many guns in the alpha so those can be the high end guns found in super rare buildings.

I always thought that when they meant re-doing the weapons they would have completely researched everything instead of just having the 3d artist make attachments and models, then just slap some random values on them... I guess this is just part of the testing.

Whatever, all you people wanna do is start fights. I hope this thread gets locked

I got plenty of experience with this myself, .22 mags don't seem to spawn anywhere outside military spawns (mainly tents). It's like they have the same spawns as M4 mags. And all the crossbows and .22 pistols I've found in police loot have been placed in shelves and on the roof of the cars so that makes me think they spawned there. One thing also that gives it away is that all the doors were always closed and people don't usually do that, especially in police stations where there's like 10 doors to close :D

I'm pretty sure the guns spawn in random locations because the only separate gun spawns they have added is: -the M4 spawns -the "regular rifle" spawns (which probably includes crossbow ATM) -pistol spawns This will eventually have to be done unless they really want .22 mags spawning in military tents and .22 pistols in police cars.

It's pretty much pointless even suggesting something over here... The military or the police don't use .22 rifles, crossbows or double barreled shotguns. That's it. 12 gauge should still spawn over there though, just not the double barreled. If you really want your piano houses then make the .22 spawn there but not in the goddamn military tents. No more "read the post #3" replies like it just made my suggestion pointless, this is my opinion.

Well, I didn't avoid playing with my character but I was very paranoid. I actually died climbing a ladder with my gun out. (Glitch) I had TTsKO pants (worn) & jacket (pristine), Camo baseball cap (pristine), DPM Assault Vest (pristine), beige jungle boots (pristine), and that's it. Inside them was an FNX with a mag and a red dot sight, 3 yellow boxes with shitloads of .45 rounds, a compass, a knife, food, a canteen etc. inside them. The pristine camo baseball cap is an artifact, I think it's one of the hardest items to find. I have only seen 2 of them pristine.

Hitting DayZ puberty is when you no longer get adrenaline rushes from getting shot at and you are ready to fire back without your hands shaking in real life.

I will let those live another day but give me one unarmed guy and I'll shoot him instantly. I don't like people who punch me.

I do agree on the crossbow though, I like the current one we have. It's not completely unrealistic to kill someone with a crossbow in real life, even though then you could argue that you can kill someone with one shot from any gun, which is true, but let's not go there.

Oh yeah I took the wrong city, Povrly was Elektro and the other city right beside Ustí nad Labem is Cherno. If you look at the satellite pics you can even see the three commie block suburbs they added. I thought it was pretty interesting so i made this map to compare the areas (Don't derail the thread any further pls :lol: )
