Well, I don't think the point of the game is directly run to NWAF.. Running till you reach some place is pretty boring. At least stop in Zeleno and Vybor for supplies.

I'd say late 2014 or 2015. They're gonna finish the PC version first, which will take one year from now on and then they're gonna look into it. If it's good, they will start working on it. And that will probably take some months to make and then publish. You can't make a rushed version with bugs if you're making a console game. Harder to patch frequently.

It doesn't make much sense.. Even if you start with only clothing, the soldier is gonna be the only one with camouflage. If you add that with additional ammo/items and a spawnpoint near a military outpost, everyone is gonna choose that one. Who wants to be an unarmed doctor in bright clothing?

The water level has to be at 0 all the time. We would get some weird looking canyons.

In the Walking Dead, only dead people turn. The bite wounds only cause a lethal infection, which kills you and then you turn. In DayZ, people have gotten the infection, just like flu or something. They are still alive, but are frenzied and feel no pain. (Expect some of them say "FUCK DAT HURT"

Basically, the fresh infected should have more health, move faster and do more damage. The decayded ones are obviously the weaker and slower ones..

I remember one time when I accidentally ran on road (During night) and had flares equipped. So my first reaction was to kill the zed. Since I couldn't see what was happening in the dark and it took so long to attack, I pressed the attack key repeatedly. Then my character started spamming flares and I couldn't move. Knocked out + eaten.

No.. DayZ Standalone is supposed to be even more realistic or authentic than the current mod. Making random items spawn out of nowhere is unrealistic. Now now, I know you're writing that "zombie game lol how can a zombie game be realistic", that is irrelevant and annoying. Oh yeah and did I say NO!! He meant that once you die (For whatever reason) you will be kicked+banned (From that server) until next restart and transferred to another nearby server. Your dead body, tent and vehicles are on that server and they will be gone after the restart. Now, the vehicles should only respawn if someone else doesn't touch it. That means that another guy could rob your vehicle before the restart. And that also means that your friends can store your loot in that vehicle, but that's besides the point.

I don't watch it much.. I watched some DayZMarine and Sacriel videos though.

With my 1MB connection, downloading new maps takes ages and finding a good Chernarus private hive was hard enough.

If I heard the engine, I probably would have taken cover and shot the driver in the face before they even know it. When a car full of survivors pulls up, you know you're getting into a fight.

Remember the days when the game would spawn you at coast with no gear after you log out? I started without nothing and it was pretty fun. In 40 mins, I had an ALICE pack, a ghillie and an AKM.

Yes.. It was mainly about survival and not: Run here and run there. I was scared of big cities and military camps when I started playing..

Went there once with a couple of guys, found a pick-up truck. On another occasion, I went there alone, it had been 4 hours since last restart and still found an M14. The lack of traffic makes up for the shit loot spawns. Otherwise it's a waste of time, since it's even further out than NWAF which has the best loot.

In result of the guy getting eaten, his clothes should get ruined. They would have minimal weather and warmth effects.

Now I'm just testing if I learned that. It was already transparent, but when I exported it to JPG, it got a white backround. E: Yay it works!
