I have gone there and I noticed that zeds kept spotting me without seeing me. They started climbing up the radio tower. There was this one ghost zombie who constantly made aggro noises but never attacked me (Maybe stuck inside the radio tower)

MK12 is good for me, any 5.56 rifle basically has flat trajectory to 400 meters and Mk12 should fire a little further.. I'm not too confident at long shots, so 600 meters would be my max range. That's why Mk12 is better for me. Lower recoil, bigger magazine, but also weaker.

I think there should be something that allows you to push the guy you kidnapped and if you left him for 30 seconds, he could loosen up and run. Same thing with vehicles (You could "load" him into a passenger seat while pushing or holding him), leave him alone without a driver for 30 seconds and he can exit and start running. Because there's no need to tie someone up and leave them into the woods. If you want to leave him into the woods, you're coming with him. Also, another guy should be also be able to free him. No need to waste 30 secs.

I did some sort of safezone in DayZ SP once, I just left a little hole in between a bush and the sandbag wall. It worked. If there's no hole in the wall, the zombie just runs straight trough it. But if there's a hole and the bush is "blocking" the way (Kinda like them not being able to hit trough one), they can't get in. You could do it on a large scale, but zombies would spawn inside it and it would be pretty difficult.

Actually, I find Zub to be the best in terms of location. I've ran directly up from Cherno, first going to Zub, avoiding the next village, taking the deerstand on the hill and going from there to Stary. Done this a couple of times.

And also another cause for the road to end could be because they went offroad. You can see the deep blue still there, so it didn't really end, some people just left the road.

I wouldn't call it useless.. It's a goddamn rocket launcher. If you need a storage just get a vehicle.
