It is fun to play at night with flares and flashlights, if you know how to enjoy it. Most people play competitive and wont even touch night servers because "NVG players are gonna kill them" I actually teamed up with a dude and we looted buildings while travelling up north. Got moved down by an MK48. Oh well.

If you just run to NWAF to either get killed or to get a weapon and then run back to Cherno to kill people, it will indeed get boring.

Oil filter suppressor is a 100% American thing. They got the special little threads you can put on the filter and then screw it on the barrel. I doubt any post soviet guy in a very small village has ordered one of those.

It's probably one of the most fitting and at the same time ideal guns for the game.

Oh is that right? Because I do want to find boxes of ammo and load up my magazines like I would have to do in real life. It changes it completely. You might find some 5.56 rounds from a hunting shop (Not sure if it exists in the SA), but you might not find a 30 round mag, instead one of the 20 rounders they showed us. Your mags also wont disappear, they will just become empty ones. I love it.

I hate them because I have bad internet (bad download speeds) and can't be bothered to find a good server that isn't whitelisted. I just want to jump in and play DayZ, not waste half a day installing new shit. And everyone else seems to like Taviana or whatever map Frankie is playing right now. Those damn yellow text thumbnails... I also think they're missing out on the original DayZ, where survival was more important than killing people. Of course survival and killing people have much in common, but the new mods have buffed up military spawns, which means you can go get a full auto rifle before you get your first can of beans..

I hate the kill feed.. Nametags should also be completely gone. Not even in the game script, nothing.

Shooting a healthy player in the chest with a .308 will make them bleed, knock them out and make them prone to passing out again. I'm sure you'll be able to put one more.
