Yeah I had pretty poor performance before using this. (around 20-30 dropping to 15 in heavy areas.) Once I set this up it's pretty much constantly a smooth 60 unless I drop into a heavily populated area which it will drop to 40+. This is great.

Yeah I always find it funny that the "cruuuunch cruuuuuunch sliiiiiiiiide cruuuuuuunch" of prone is only one bar of sound, where as if you take a single running or crouch running step within 20 meters of a zombie you should just prepare to be swarmed.

I found some loot in an outhouse once but had trouble aiming at it to pick it up, I just kept getting the option to shut the door. on a hunch a crawled inside on top of the 'bowl' and crouched down, I was still getting the option to close the door so on another hunch I went ahead and shut it. I was able to grab the loot, a compass, bandages and a can of beans. Satisfied I tried to leave, but I wasn't able to actually turn my head enough to actually get the option to open the door now. So there I was stuck inside this outhouse for ten minutes or so while I wait for my buddy to crawl through town to save me from my prison. Toilets are dangerous.

I am intrigued. I'll take a look at this as I've been looking for a nice server that has no nametags but does have third person (I like to use it while traveling/crawling). Will kind of miss my tent on my current server but I don't have anything important in there. Captain Trips in game. Hope to see you there if I decide to stick around!

I work nights so I don't play during the nighttime. Even on my nights off I usually end up staying up until the late evening then sleeping through most of the night, it's nice to sleep in the dark every once in a while.

I second using a melee weapon to open the hospital. No need to attract any unwanted attention.

Sounds strange. I've had moderate success throwing empty bottles and great success using flares to distract. Come to think of it I don't think I've ever distracted anything with empty cans before. Always been bottles or flares.
