    Arma 2 Beta and Steam

    Darkest_97 posted a topic in DayZ Mod Troubleshooting

    Now I'm not entirely sure how all this works, so I have a few questions. I realize theres an Arma 2 beta. I've launched and updated dayz and the beta from Six Updater and it works fine. When I launch with steam it doesn't use the beta. I can tell because 3rd person doesn't work when you aren't running the beta version. So my question is, what does the beta actually do with DayZ? Is there a way to launch the beta through steam? Thanks.
