If Hive is having difficulties that usually leads to a server crash with unpreditable results that you guys seem to have faced. There is nothing I can do about issues with Hive.

The big problem would also be cheating. IF every server owner would be allowed to have their own database, it wouldnt need much for the owner to just hack in anything he and his friends need. I would personally not want to play on any server where this would be possible. -
Seems that 1.7.1.4 didnt make the server explode in 4 minutes like 1.7.1.2 did. Server up and running again.

You should go to the bohemia forums BEC thread and ask help from the author himself if youre having problems.

Unfortunately 1.7.1.2 seems to crash the server in just minutes after starting so before 1.7.1.3 comes out and hopefully fixes this the server will stay down.

Wrong! There is nothing wrong with this beta. Problem is with a server setting that needs to be edited for it to work with latest client. Usage of 93825 on any server without the edit -> kick Usage of 93825 on servers with the edit -> profit Proof: My server, DE 48 running on latest beta (required to join) just fine. -
Hey guys! With the new naming convention I've had to change the server location ID from EU33 to DE 48. I will for now keep the servername as DE 48 EU33 so you can still filter for EU33 and find the server. Name: DE 48 (old name EU33) Difficulty: Expert (means no crosshair and no 3rd person) Deathmessages: off Chats: off Lobby idle timer kick: on (meaning if you loiter in the lobby for X minutes without connecting to the server you will get kicked) Server always requires latest Arma2 beta. Even though it is possible to script missions to use compressed time this has been tried a few times in a heavily loaded multiplayer environment in the past with horrible results. If you want a game that will desync every 5 seconds (meaning only thing you see is a red chain all the time) then yes, lets compress time. If you want a playable MP experience then it is not technically possible to make the time run faster without serious problems with the server. Just something the Arma engine cannot cope with.

Well as you can clearly see the first one is badly cluttered without any proper detail on where the things are. You only do get a really general idea from that map. The second one has a lot better detail but there are things like the grid is completely wrong compared to the real ingame one (which you can see in the first map) since that version of the map is missing a kilometer or two up north and west of the map. Along that its missing buildings here and there and has some erronous data too. Same problem as with the second one in the first maps' date=' details missing, grid wrong and missing buildings etc here and there. Might be worth a try but if I paint 2x2 pixels blue to mark a well on a 15300 x 15300 pixel map how will you ever find it? ;) I also don't use 100% opacity so you can hopefully see the details under the colours of the circles too. I too don't like to see a big icon on top of a town blocking the data underneath.

A few people in IRC have gotten some wip versions but now its time to release it: http://sekra.dev-hell.net/DayZMap/ Please download and save the map rather than viewing it from the website so our http server doesnt explode or we dont exceed our traffic quota. The main map features: -All wells where you can refill your waterbottles -Towns in english and russian -Mountains -Lakes and other bodies of water -Hospitals -General Stores -Railroads -Created using the arma engines EMF export capability meaning its more accurate than any other map around (others have buildings and stone fences etc missing) The .zip file is for those who want to save a few bytes downloading and if your browser can't open the 18Mb .png file. All feedback and suggestions are appreciated!
