Sometimes I really want to take advantage of how easy it is to find where people live. Some people really need someone to come to their house and scare the hell out of them. This sense of oh they're random people on the internet so I can be a douchebag really needs to stop. THIS is the main cause of this problem. As I read through this post there are ever so many people on here and everywhere that seriously just need to get their shit tossed. I know all of the people in question (trolls) are going to jump on this and make fun of it. Just know that all the good people out there are laughing at you. We all know that you will get no where in life, and if you do its because you're hiding behind some mask and being a phony. If your boss, or parents, or grandma could see the way some of you act on the internet I would bet that you would be fired from your job or be smacked upside the head. Just because you think that nothing can happen to you, that the internet is some sort of protective shield, doesn't mean that it is. It is so very easy to find out where people on the internet live. Heck for $35 you can find out pretty much anything you want to know about someone. So just be glad that I am not some sort of crazy lunatic who actually would show up at your house someday. Hopefully you can get it through your thick worthless skull that what you're doing, the way some of you act is not okay. If you acted like that on the street, in a parking lot, wherever, to the wrong person.. you'd be very very sorry. Go ahead make fun, tear me down. Say i'm just crying because of whatever, but deep down you know its true. Maybe your parents didn't care about you. Maybe you grew up in a bad neighborhood. Maybe you have no friends, girlfriend, social life, whatever. But that does not make what some of you are doing okay. If you decide to not take this in stride, To not be a better person, then I hope that someday you anger the wrong person. So they can teach you some manners, and morality. Thank you and good day.

What I would ABSOLUTELY LOVE!!: Better sounds
shadowslayer552 replied to FrankDaTank1218 (DayZ)'s topic in DayZ Mod Suggestions
I agree. The sounds do need to be made better or fixed. I think that this should really be a priority over adding new things to the game. I'd really like to see the zombie sounds actually have distance. Instead of as soon as you're in range they sound like they're right on top of you. I also agree with the weapons. A lot sound way too weak, and a lot sound way too loud. Go rent the guns from this game and go to a gun range and shoot them. Record some sounds. See how loud they actually are. Otherwise I would really like to see bugs fixed before new features. Look at minecraft, for the most part Mojang would fix bugs before adding new content. If they did add new content though they also fixed any previous bugs beforehand. I just think this would make the game smoother for many people, and it would make the updates better IMHO. Its a wonderful game and I really do look forward to seeing it grow. Perhaps more destructible environments like in battlefield 3 or like how you can blow up the control tower at the airport. More enter able buildings (or all buildings). More fortifications, as well as protection for them when you go offline. It would make it more worth your time to stay on one server and protect your stuff rather than jump from server to server. People could set up colonies, safe havens. It would also give them more of a reason to stick together, rather than become bandits. I love the sandbox aspect so PLEASE keep it like EVE:online where the game is harsh. This keeps a lot of losers and little kids out of the game because they either don't understand it or can't handle it. For instance EVE: online's average player age is 27. That means a generally more mature playerbase. I also think the zombies run too erradically. I dont understand why they have to zig zag. Between how fast they run and server lag this zig zagging just looks stupid and really serves no purpose. Just have them run straight at you. Simple. Done. Lastly I would like to see easily created servers. I don't understand why you're so stingy about servers. If people want to pay for their own server and have it passworded so only their friends can play, let them. As well as LAN games. I for one would love to set up a lan game over hamachi with just my friends. you don't NEED the bandit aspect in the game, as there's zombies which can be just as hazardous if one isn't careful. The people playing your game are your customers, they paid for it, don't be so resrtictive. I know its just alpha but still, you can't even do a DayZ match by yourself or use the gametype in Arma's editor. Just my two cents. Thank you for the great game keep up the good work. At first I didn't know what I thought about starting with nothing, but then -
Want to host a DayZ Server? Read in here.

"BEWARE - The same restrictions apply to Non-Dev run servers! - IT MAY NEVER BE PASSWORDED - NO OTHER KEYS OR MODS. NONE. PERIOD. - NO KICKING TO MAKE ROOM FOR 'FRIENDS' OR CLANMATES - NO LOCKING THE SERVER" Now I realize that this is an alpha game but isn't that abit harsh and controlling? I feel like if someone wants to pay for their own server they should be able to password it. I'm sure theres a reason for it, but i just wanted to throw in my own two cents. I'd love to set up a lan server over hamachi but you can't. Love the game. Keep doing what you're doing.
